Chaos I dipped for over 4 decades and quit 2 years ago. I have very few natural teeth left and have had multiple gum graphs. I continued in my addiction through all that also. Non addicts and even some addicts can read your story and ask how could you continue dipping after all you've been through? Not me, I even sat with my friend as he died with most of his face eaten away from oral cancer and I sat there with my dip in place. You can quit today, but unless you join your quit group and commit to no nicotine today you will have an out. As far as withdrawal, most nicotine will be out of your system after about 72 hours however the battle of reprogramming is just beginning. The craving goes on gradually getting less often and weaker. HOF (100 days) is a good start but remember as addicts we are never completely free, that 1 dip puts you right back where you left off.
You may have waited too long or not, it really doesn't matter. Today is a new day and the only one that counts.

you will ignore what is."
If you need a contact pm me, I'd be glad to give you my number. And you have my prayers for healing and quitting.
