The reason you have never quit before is because you keep trying to do it your way, and you my friend are an ADDICT. This is different and simple to do but you need to listen if you really want this! There is more help here than you will ever need, but you must take the first step. A planned quit is a poor way to start. It shows weakness and there is no room for weakness in a quit. Clean out the shit, grab your balls, and come see what freedom feels like. I will quit will you but you need to toughen up.

I pray, that while you delay, the next dip is not the one that gives you cancer. Do not let that bitch talk you out of quitting.

Jon, ask yourself this question, and give yourself a no-bullshit answer: Between now and May 1st, what specifically is going to occur that will increase the likelihood of you will quit using nicotine? Seriously. If you would, post the answer here. I would love to debate. You may be the first person that ever gave a logical, reasonable answer.

Step 1) say that you quit. Don't say "I'm afraid", "I hope", and all the rest of that crap.

Step 2) Click here -- Welcome Center and read all that stuff paying close attention to: How to Post Roll, and Roll Call, Why we do it

If you want to quit, just do it. We did.

There will never be a time in your entire life that is a good time to quit. There will always be one more thing before you quit. Stress, finals, interviews, family problems, work, marriage, kids, medical problems etc all make good excuses. Telling yourself your going to fail if you quit during times of stress is just a little mental game to allow you to keep chewing longer. " A USE RATIONALIZATION"

You wanna quit? do it now

The problem with quitting tomorrow, is that there is always another tomorrow.

Getting the better of me..
« on: April 15, 2013, 04:02:00 PM »
The lifestyle associated with dipping has got me isolated mentally. I've only been dipping 5 years and I am absolutely addicted for sure.

I want to quit today, but this next two weeks are going to be very stressful and hell for me. I am just thinking prior to failing and falling back I would like to do it right the first time and get it done rather than prolonging it. (Read the date thing on resources provided).

Thanks for any suggestions, really I just came here to start my commitment to quit.

May 1st, 2013. (You have probably heard it before but I am ready.)

My names Jon, I am 23- and I am from Buffalo NY
