Welcome to day 2 Capermac1! It might not seem like it - but the fog, dizziness, lack of sleep, etc. will go away soon. It is different for everyone. I am going into double digit days tomorrow. It took 5 days for the fog to lift - but I feel better and better every day. Plow through it. I quit with you!

In 10 minutes it will be 24 hours since my last dip. Feeling so foggy and unable to concentrate. Reading others on this site who have been in the same place as I am makes me feel that this journey is winnable.
Hell yes, it is winnable. Click around in the Quit Groups...a few different months/years. All of those folks are doing it. YOU CAN TOO!!!br /br /Remember, the fog is a privilege reserved to those who have the guts to quit. You GET to go through it. Don't feel sorry for yourself...you're living free. That is something to be pumped about. You got this, brother!!! YOU ARE QUIT!
Like Bean said, what you are feeling is a positive thing. You are losing nothing, nicotine did NOTHING for you except screw up your mind into thinking you needed her. You have begun the journey to rediscover the real you. The clean you. Embrace the suck! You have to get that shit out of your system. Then the healing will begin. YOU CAN DO THIS! One day, or even one minute at a time.
I know it sounds weird, but embrace the fog. Without the fog you will think quitting is easy. It isn't easy. Name one thing in life that is worth it and easy....

You can do this. ODAAT. NAFAR. QLF EDD.

Congrats Dude.

Did you see "The Matrix"?

If so...nicotine is the red pill. If you want to be a slave, and risk dying a sick and tortuous death...there you go.

Quitting is the blue pill. It is the truth, and the key to unlocking yourself. Stay quit, and embrace the fog...because when it lifts, you're going to be surprised at what you see.
