Welcome to the Brotherhood. It is going to be a long crazy ride but all of us in the BROTHERHOOD are behind you 100%.
Make that promise to not pick that can up ever again, you will want to, but don't give in to the Nic Bitch. She will whisper sweet nothings in your ear to get you to re-commit to her.
Post roll EDD and take it one day at a time.
Stay quit my brother.

I have a PS4 myself and yes, a dip always went in about the same time I turned on the system. Last night (day 10 for me) I crossed a huge hurdle. I planned on having a few brews and joining a group of my friends who play GTAV online. I was prepared with gum, seeds, and Smokey Mountain fake stuff, but as the gaming went on I never even turned to any of it. I was so wrapped up in the game and the fun we were having that it never once crossed my mind to pop in a dip. After playing for a few hours (and several beers!) I went to bed and then woke up today feeling great. Keep after your quit - you dont need it to enjoy your PS4!
Go f%$@ yourself

I was a video gamer as well, and always had a face full of poison for hours at a time. It is tough to quit, but if I can do you, so can you. It gets better fast, game on!

Quitting is hard - this is by design. The companies that make the chew need people to keep spending thousands of dollars on their product.

If you do this correctly you only need to go through the suck part once. B)B

After that things get so much better.

I quit with you today!

moddyd - Keep that "fuck you dip" anger with you every day brother. That anger has helped me a lot with my quit. I think to myself several times per day "Fuck you nicotine. You are not my master. I have control over YOU motherfucker."

I too smoked and dipped. Started with cigs then moved to dip to quit smoking. Eventually I was doing both! Sometimes at the same time! I was a true nic whore. The dirtiest sluttiest whore out there.

For sure start posting up and get some numbers from your brothers. You have to go all-in to quit. There's nothing half ass about it.

The more action you take, the easier quitting becomes. Paying attention to diet, exercising, cutting caffeine, alcohol, sugar all goes a long way. Googling the various effects of nicotine on the brain and body will help understand what's going on and along the way you find tips and suggestions for dealing with them.

This is a battle of the mind and body. Make it an all out war and attack from all angles.
We don't win wars with a single carpet bomb. There has to be strategic attacks, air support, ground support, and a constant force. The more artillery that goes into it, the sooner the war is won.

arggghhhh this is hard
« on: February 02, 2016, 12:07:00 PM »
Thought this would be easy. Growing up I smoked and dipped. Quit dipping for about 5 or so years. It was easy because I was still smoking. Quit smoking when I was 27. Started dipping again at 29. Now 33. I quit yesterday. Much harder having zero tobacco. Really hard when gaming on PS4 with friends as that was my go to trigger. I am doing this without nicotine replacement for the first time. Chewing the fuck out of gum.

Hey dip, fuck you.
