I don't know what the fuck 'gig 'em' means, but I do know that Quitting is not a spectator sport. Participation is required.

Get your ass in here and get it done.

If I can do this after 29 years of slavery, you can. I'm nothing special.
What is your major malfunction?!?!?!?!

Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Quote from: MonsterEMTGlad to have you here. If you quit in August your quit group will be the Stone Cold Quitters (November 2014). Find them here.

Also, learn how to post roll. It's a daily commitment and promise to not use nicotine in any form for that day. We quit One Day At A Time, here. Find roll posting instructions here.

Read all that you can in the Welcome Center.

Get involved, post roll, get connected to guys in your group. November is a solid bunch of quitters. Exchange numbers with some of the people in your group so you have someone to get you through cravings. No one fights this battle alone.

Feel free to reach out and send a PM. Proud to be quit with you.
This site can help you kick your nicotine addiction (not a habit) to the curb. We don't use words like try or hope as they are just another excuse for our addictive brains to tell us another lie. There are no short cuts, but here are some links that will help you navigate this site.
This a NO NICOTINE site. End of discussion. Are you quit or just stopping? Best thing to do is get familiar with this site and start building your quit defense.
Highly recommend you go here:Getting Acclimated, What to Expect
Your quit Decision MUST be 100% about you. Anything short of that sets you up for failure by allowing your addict brain to blame a given situation as reason for you to go back to the can. Quitting out of fear, based on a medical issue, will fade as soon as the doctor or dentist gives you a clean bill of health.
Hands down on of the best decisions you will have ever made! Embrace this site. Read and learn

Howdy!

I'm a sophomore at Texas AM University, and I made the decision to quit smokeless tobacco on August 1st, 2014! I had been a dipper for the previous 7 years. It has been tough, but I quit cold turkey and have not touched snuff since that date! Every day I feel the want to get a can and take a dip, but I somehow find the will to stop myself. I'm joining this community to hopefully garner more strength from like-minded individuals! I hope to kill the can for good!

Thanks and gig 'em!
