Day 21. Strong craves yesterday and today. My quit is stronger, and I'm getting through it, but wow, I didn't expect this at this point.
Strong craves doing things for the first time without nic ... which is normal. Wasn't the camping trip with your son fantastic though? Even without the bitch? Maybe more so because she wasn't controlling you? Of course, she was attempting to control you, but you beat her down. Just keep doing that Gabe ... one day at a time. Proud of you brother!
Thanks for the support brother. Yes, the camping trip with my boy was excellent, especially without the bitch. Prior to the quit, I would be constantly looking for an opportunity to send him down the road on his bike for a minute, step behind a tree, put him to bed early, etc - just to get a little one-on-one action with the nic whore. Not this time, she wasn't there. I'm done with her.

Gabriel hang in there drink water and exercise. If you have not already find and read "What to expect" there are other stages of crave you must pass through on your daily quit.

Hi everyone. I was excited to find this site today. I need all the help I can get for sure. I chewed for 23 years and quit 6 days ago. It was a rough week but at least I can see straight now. Hoping to be able to function a little more at work this week (desk job.) Thanks.
Welcome. I see you've figured out how to post roll. Excellent! That roll post is your promise to yourself and all the those badasses in November. Those aren't just some random usernames. They're real men struggling to beat back this addiction. And this isn't just any old web forum. This is a family. A brotherhood. Lean on them. Get to know them personally. Build that accountability and burn down those bridges that only lead back to death.
Gabe - If you truly want to be quit for good, you will post roll each day and get involved. Don't just dip a toe in, fully immerse yourself in every corner of this site. The process is proven with many quitters - commit EARLY each day to be quit, keep your promise, and tomorrow is another day. Get to know those in November. Join a text group. Be active, frequent this site in the tough hours. Stick to the plan, te +1s add up. You'll be amazed at what you can do and how powerful you will feel that you have quit the major demon in your life.
Welcome Gabriel ... you've got some badass quitters pulling for you. The process here is really very simple. Wake up, piss, post roll, and HONOR the promise you made on roll call every damn day. Honor yourself, honor your brothers, step up and QUIT! 6 days on your own is quite the feat, keep quitting ... read as much as you can here. Become a ninja with the mouse at work if you have to, but absorb the pearls of wisdom all over this website. Do all of the above ... you're quit. Of course, that's just for one day. You'll Need to repeat that mentality ever day. Simple, right? I quit with you today! See you on roll tomorrow ...
Hey Gabe. First off, great decision to join. You'll find some damn good accountability here. Just wondering why you're here? Are you ready to really hate this plant, this poison... that you're addicted to? Congrats on 6 days, alone. Let's keep adding those days up, and get you some accountability and brotherhood. Read, Read, Read.... visit the Welcome Center and learn how to post roll. Let's take your quit to the next level.
Thanks for the encouragement guys. Yes, I hate nicotine...it has sucked time, money, life for way too long. I'm definitely an addict. I'm here for one reason - to quit. I've never been much for support group type stuff, talking through my issues, admitting I have problems, etc. But, I appreciate this place already and know you are going to be a part of my life for awhile. Thanks for being here, and for the fellowship.
Congrats on quitting. As far as you having "never been much for support group type stuff, talking through my issues", do think the rest of us have been spending our whole lives laying down on a couch weeping about how mommy didn't love us, and begging for someone to make us feel better?
You don't have the market cornered on macho Gabe. This isn't a support group to quit wearing our wives undies.
The sooner you just get with the program, the sooner it will work. If you resist long enough, you will fail.
Hope you become a quitter...
I am a quitter! Lipizzaner, no offense to you, fellow quitter. I get it, and I know I'm no more macho than any of you. No, I know you haven't been laying around on the couch your whole life, etc. I'm glad this group is here, I'm glad to be a part of it. If it was a group to quit wearing my wife's undies, I wouldn't be here. I'm with the program. I'm all in! Let's kick some nicotine ass today!

Thank goodness. I'd hate to lose G and Tarp.
I think they should get the help the need, so I am not opposed to starting a new thread.
