Hey one thing Gabriel- Just a last comment before I forget all about you-
You don't need to cave before you come back in here and say "I fucked up. I am an idiot. I can't do this on my own."
If you do that BEFORE you cave, you will be in a lot better shape quit-wise, and you will get a lot less shit from the community.
Otherwise, enjoy your cave you fucking moron bro.

Hi everyone. I was excited to find this site today. I need all the help I can get for sure. I chewed for 23 years and quit 6 days ago. It was a rough week but at least I can see straight now. Hoping to be able to function a little more at work this week (desk job.) Thanks.
You were given all the help you asked for, and then some. You received all the help you needed, and then some. KTC was here for you, but not anymore. I hope you realize one of the strongest resources you HAD at your disposal will disappear. I wish you the best of luck in your quit. But realize this: when the nic bitch starts scratching at you, and she will, KTC will be nowhere.

Sorry to say, I'm leaving KTC. I feel that I've given as much or more than I've taken from the program, and that it's time for me to move on. I see the benefit in continuing to post daily for some, however I've decided not to. I am quit and will remain quit. I'm accountable to my wife and my God. Thanks again for everything quit brothers and sisters!
Wow. Sorry to hear this Gabriel. Any particular reason your folding up your tent?

Reading through your thread, you've had a lot of excellent support. This is a pretty big slap in their face.

How about you at least stick it out to the HOF and reevaluate?
Back when I was in Gabriel's shoes, and there was something whispering for me to just forget about this place, and to stop posting roll, I thought it was "the Nic Bitch." I never knew it was The Lord.
I guess if I had just stopped KTC at that point, I would also be right here now, quit at day 250-something, I just didn't recognize the signs.
However, since my wife actually wants me to quit, she probably would have been pretty pissed if I threw my quit away on a leap of faith. She tends to believe in reality, and the reality is, you only made it to this point because of KTC.
See you later.
If your truly sorry, God will forgive you for pretty much anything, dipping included. So I really don't buy the "I'm accountable to my God" stuff.

You say you've given more than you've taken. Please explain that for me. What have you been "giving" others? Advice on how to walk away after being quit for two months?

Punk move, Gabriel.

Good luck to you. You're gonna need it.

Day 21. Strong craves yesterday and today. My quit is stronger, and I'm getting through it, but wow, I didn't expect this at this point.
Strong craves doing things for the first time without nic ... which is normal. Wasn't the camping trip with your son fantastic though? Even without the bitch? Maybe more so because she wasn't controlling you? Of course, she was attempting to control you, but you beat her down. Just keep doing that Gabe ... one day at a time. Proud of you brother!
Thanks for the support brother. Yes, the camping trip with my boy was excellent, especially without the bitch. Prior to the quit, I would be constantly looking for an opportunity to send him down the road on his bike for a minute, step behind a tree, put him to bed early, etc - just to get a little one-on-one action with the nic whore. Not this time, she wasn't there. I'm done with her.
This post made my day Gabriel! It gets so much better brother, I golfed for the first time yesterday since being quit, and I thought of it once when I 3 putted. Once, where I used to take 2 cans for a round because I was constantly dipping and re-dipping. Every day, and different thing you do is magnified by being quit!
Awesome, thanks for the encouragement in the truth that it gets better and that days and activities are magnified by being quit. I know it's true, but it's good to hear over and over. Congrats on your round of nicotine-free golf! May you enjoy many more.
Accountant's got to stick together! Way to be helping the new quitters, paying it forward is what it is all about!
Hiya Gabriel, I'm no smarty pants accountant like you and Thumblewort, but I can count pretty high and I see that you have claimed your 32nd day of freedom today. That is BadAss Brother! Keep it up.
Thanks rdad. No smarty pants here either. In fact the smartest thing I've done all day, or week for that matter is keep the quit going. It's what matters right now.

Thumblewort, keep telling those new quitters what it's all about. You helped me early on. It's amazing how one or two comments from someone you don't know can have such a positive impact on a quit.
