Hey all. I just got back from the dentist, and it's not good. He says I have severe bone loss (he had a fancy word for it). There's nothing we can do to salvage the teeth. They're on the way out.
I freaked the phukk out for awhile. I reached out to a few ktc brothers, and they talked me off the ledge. Thanks guys.
Now I'm thinking clearly again. The next step is to do tons of reserch, and figure out which direction to go.
So why did this happen? Here again the dentist was using all kinds of fancy words, explaining how it gets to this point. "So the short answer is I didn't take care of them?" Yes.
Well, I always brushed regularly. Heck, I even flossed from time to time. But I didn't do regular dental visits (what's the use if I'm dipping?). And I used some form of tobacco for 20 years. Now I have a mouth full of teeth that are destroyed. We simply can't do this crap and expect to get away with it.
There's some good that can come out of this. Maybe somebody will hear my story and decide to quit. I'll have nice looking teeth again once it's all said and done. And as far as I know, my tongue and jaw are still ok.
Hope you enjoyed the chew, dumbass.
