Alright dude you've got three questions to answer. You know how this goes. What happened? Why did it happen? What are you gonna do different this time?

PM me your number if you're serious about doin this deal.

Peace.
Addiction is a bitch! Lets see where his head is. One and done or go the weekend before day 1.
Sigh. Anyone near 100. There is a post hall of fame funk!

Many feel like the craves are as strong as the first two weeks.

The post hall funk usally breaks by about day 125, then it is pretty easy until 240-280.

Notice that the funks are farther apart? It gets easier...

Quit every day. You don't deserve one for being good.

Seriously would you reward yourself with just a taste of your vomit?

You rid your body of poison. You're an addict not a dog! Dogs eat their own vomit! We should protect ourselves! A turd is a turd even if someone polishes it!

This is and always will be cunning but it is no good or a reward!
We ride the razor's edge every damn day because we are addicts. Our minds and bodies are now tainted with the finger print of nicotine and there's no way to erase it. The quit progresses from second by second at the beginning.. then moment to moment ... then day by day but it never ends. Renew your fight every damn day!

  • Interests: I was addicted to nicotine for about 19 years before I actually realized that I was an addict to a drug. Allen Carr helped open my eyes with LionHeartedGirl (my sister). I am currently on day 2 and because of the frame of mind and different point of view that "The Easy Way" has given me, I don't doubt for one moment that I have ingested the last bit of that weed for the rest of my life. I am 35 now and am setting a goal of living long enough to have saved $100,000 because of my quit. At the same time, I am setting the goal of not smoking TODAY! One step at a time, while keeping my eyes on the horizon.

Ladies and gentlemen, one of our brothers has fallen to the nic-bitch. RKPB has been fighting with craves for a long time and somehow got it into his head that a cigar would be just the relief he needed. He was wrong and feels like shit. He's working up the words to post roll day 1 and explain what happened. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that a day 1 is coming.

Our next stop is in Virginia Beach, VA to pick up RKPB. He's a swinging single quitter that started at the age of 15 and chewed his share of Grizzly Wintergreen before taking his freedom back here at KTC. He plans to celebrate his 100 days with a steak and some adult beverages. Aside from quitting, RKPB works in mortgage lending, enjoys rugby and crossfit. He appreciates Dabean and anyone else that reminded him to post roll. Mjollnir is a big inspiration for his quit. Well RKPB, welcome to the train and like one of your favorite movie stars Arnold said once in Predator..... "Stick Around!"

Congrats RKPB!

Best thing I have read on KTC...Submitted by tgafish on 7/3/14

Former Skoal Straight and Cope Longcut user that started at the age of 12. QUIT on 7/15/13

So my smoky mountain came in today. Life just got a whole lot better.
I used fake for about 150 days then just put it down. The opinions vary on fake but if it keeps you quit then enjoy.

I also used seeds, gum, candy, straws.

STAY QUIT
Greg

I have to say quitting is the most counter intuitive and productive thing I have ever done. i guess quitters do win. Also im on my 4th day of quit and just incredibly irritable(which even when I was on the stuff was the norm). Thank God everyone is busy at work I dont think i could handle my superiors being up my ass today.
Ah yes, the DEEP fog. It doesn't last long, maybe a day or two. Irritability will stick around a while. You're learning to deal with life without your nicotine self-medication. You'll get there. Someone told me this: it sucks until it doesn't, and then it wont. No, not particularly helpful, but it indicates a light at the end of this tunnel. You're on your way.

Actually the sucking until it doesnt was surprisingly helpful. Its started to suck considerably less. The worst is really just the end of the work day. Thats when i crave hardest.

Need and want are two different things. Do you want to quit? That is the question
