Wow! Just now saw all the replys! Ok I did cave, but it will be my last. I came here and was having trouble figuring out the board. Did not think I actually posted my introduction cause I could not find it once I posted it. Also was having trouble figuring out how to post roll. Next day I got hired to work on a big job and was stressed and figured I had one more day until I figured this site out and thus the cave. So I figured the site out and then re-posted in a new quit group to reflect my cave..I appreciate the accountability and all the solid words. I'm in for good now!

Tks!

Mike
Not good enough, Mike. At a minimum, your one and only job for at least the next 30 days or so will be your quit. I can guarantee it. If you are already selling yourself short now, you will not make it. I can guarantee that as well.

I asked you some questions, and I would appreciate some answers. They aren't for me, they are for you. Show us what your quit looks like.

Mike ... you never have one more day to figure shit out. You either quit, or you don't. There are no re-starts.

As someone who would love to support you ... I want to know why you thought a restart was OK. I would also like to know how you're going to handle the stresses of life that are most definitely coming your way in the future. Are you just going to "re-start" again because you had a tough day and were feeling stressed? People have seen their loved ones die ... their jobs vanish ... their lives get flipped upside down. There remains one constant ... they STAY QUIT!

You need to explain to us how you plan on "being in for good now". Truly want to believe in you, but absolutely hate the start-overs. They are unacceptable. Quitting is hard fucking work, and at this point it does not appear you're up for the task. Explain yourself and your renewed effort better. It helps to type it out, and it will most definitely strengthen your quit when you look back at this intro down the road.

Time to get serious about your quit, Mike. You're not off to a great start, and half-assery won't cut it if you expect to be in control over your addiction.

It's almost 11:00am CST and you still haven't posted roll today. Unless you were up all last night working, you need to post roll first thing each day. Posting roll is a promise you make at the beginning of the day, not a status update at the end.

I would have loved to remind you to post roll this morning, but I don't have your digits. Does anyone else have them? Do you have theirs? If not for either, why not?

You also need explain why you have multiple Day 1's that span between the February group and the March group. There are no fits and starts here. We just quit, and we do it once.

Hey Mike,

I combined your two intros. We like to keep things straight up here. You need to own up to your past here, so let's keep it all together.

At some point, you may want to look back on this and be able to understand what a hold this addiction has on all of us.

Mike ... I see you joined February first with posting a day one on 11/20. Now you're in March posting a day 2 yesterday, and it better be a day 3 today.

Why did you join a group and fail right away? You do realize that that post you made in February was a promise to everyone here that you wouldn't use ... right? What you did in February is referred to as a "Cave" ... you caved to the temptation. You also failed to keep your promise, to yourself ... and everyone here. Caving is not acceptable. Show strength, not weakness.

Trust me, my words are not harsh compared to what some would levy upon you with the discovery that this is already your second attempt. We want you to quit, and stay quit. We also want you to realize that integrity means everything to the quitters here. If you are not in this battle for the long haul, one day at a time, every damn day ... don't expect waves of support. Expect quite the opposite as a matter of fact. This site is built with one simple cornerstone: Posting Roll and then HONOR your roll post!

If, however, the failed attempt is your ABSOLUTE last one ... support from all directions will wash over you. You are one of the first quitters in March 2015, show some leadership in that group and show that as a man ... your promise has value. As a man, if you promise not to use nicotine in any form ... you HONOR roll and that promise, and by doing so you show integrity.

Do these things, and keep doing them. I'm quitting with you today bro, post roll every damn day early in the morning and I'll continue to quit with you EDD!

PM me if you want some digits for some extra accountability. Buckle-up, batten down the hatches ... and QUIT LIKE FUCK!

Failure is not an option here. You are a quitter now. Be a quitter. Just do it one day at a time.

Keep it up bud. I'm 3.5 days in, neither one of us can cave. Too much life left to live to be a slave to this dirty garbage. Stay strong.

:) Hi eveyone, My name is Mike and I live in Austin TX

Amazing site everyone has built! I have been trying to quit on my own for the past few months, but every time I tell myself I'm done, I always con myself into having just one dip, and we all know how that works..Anyway, with you guys holding me accountable I have not had a dip for two days now..Last time it got worse at day 3-5 and that's when I had the "one" dip. I started to feel a lot of anxiety and a little depression after being so excited for the first few days without dippind. See what happens this time..I'm in the March 2015 group! Thanks for everyones help and support..

Mike

Ok, love that you posted roll today, but you quit 3 days ago? Please explain.
+1 WTF? Glad you are quit however when did this quit actually start?

That said, if you are now quit today as your roll would suggest, pull up the big boy pants and get ready for the SUCK  Fog for the next few days. Lots of water, seeds, gum, hard candy, fake dip, slamming your nuts in a drawer or whatever it will take to keep the cat turd out of your lip. Post roll, keep your promise and repeat daily, you can't lose. Welcome to KTC!
