So your response to "Thank you" is telling the person to fuck off?

I used this site as a resource to help ME quit. That's the intention right? Otherwise what's the point of having 15 options on the main page, instead of just linking to the quit month part of the forum. I didn't go cold turkey. Because that didn't work for me before. I tapered. And I didn't use your damn program. So? It worked for me. Which should be the point. But sure. Selfish prick. Fuck off. K.

So just so you have a reason to call me a prick again, i'll say Thank you again. This is a load of high school clique mentality, But thanks nonetheless. :) Goodbye then.
did you read what everyone wrote?? it doesn't sound like it... it sounds like you read one post and got pissed! and if you didn't use the program what are you saying thank you for and why are you here?
No no no, someone called him a prick..

If you want your balls coddled, I'll call Timeless in...or you could go to lite. Or you could come post roll with us, your percentage of success is MUCH higher! You have to understand that A) the is NOT a habit, you are a full blown addict, and the only way you can overcome that is to accept that you will always be one. B- You are still new in your quit, you haven't won anything yet brother. Yes, celebrate your 7 weeks, because that's awesome! But 7 weeks, still a fresh quit.

That's my 2 cents.

Exactly what Bruce said-
Demon, the deal is addiction is forever. 7 weeks quit is great for any addict. But most of us have seen even strong quitters fail with 100, 200, 500+ days quit. While I think it is possible to quit and stay quit without support, I know for a fact that your odds go up significantly if you are using this program the way it is set up.
I don't get this cat. He "thanks us" from the bottom of his heart? What, he's "cured" after 50 days? Did he not read anything about how this site works? Did he not see this is an online COMMUNITY with over 13,000 members who have contributed over 1.7 MILLION posts??? Yet he just wonders on here thanking us for being a "resource" for curing him in 7 weeks yet offers jack shit to help anyone else. Like we're supposed to kiss his ass for his "thank you"???!

What a fucking dick hole.

Wow. Just. Wow.
If you spent a little more time here you would know that the price of this site is your word, your supporting your quit brothers - the reaction you see below should not be something you were not expecting... I've seen members join and use this site the way it should be used after 2 months had gone by, you still have time but don't half ass it if you want support here...

Just a heads up, I know I didn't do the roll thing and all. I just want to say thank you to everyone who I talked to over the past few months, you guys helped tremendously. I'm still nicotine free, almost 7 weeks strong, don't even want it anymore.  Reading through the success stories, and the horror stories gave me the motivation to do something that I wouldn't have been able to just a year ago.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank all of you.
Gosh Demon, that's great you got 7 weeks quit by using the resources here and getting support but giving nothing (including your pledge) back. I truely hope you are in the 1 percent that can stay quit on your own. The rest of us are addicts and realize we are not cured, that this is a very long-term fight and we need the support KTC offers. If for some reason you fail, come on back and try it the KTC way...
With no one to be accountable to none of us would ever fail in anything we do.

I see a "day 1" posting in your future. 7 weeks is basically 49 days. Not even half way there. Please go back to the welcome center and read it over and over until it sinks in about the how and why we do things around here. No special butterflys around here. Just quit addicts.

The best way to thank someone is to pay it forward! What a selfish prick, take, take, take but give nothing in return! I wish you the best of luck. Don't bother to report in again you obviously don't need us and we sure as hell haven't missed you.

My name is Jeremy, i'm 29. I dipped for 11 years of my life, and as of this posting, I am 10 days completely free of nicotine. I tapered off for about a month, then used nicotine gum after I had stopped. The only thing I use now is wintergreen gum, and the occasional smokey mountain, which is gummy and gross, but it works as a proxy. It's good to not be a slave anymore.
Welcome to the best decision you have made in the past 11 years. Doesn;t it feel good to choose life over poisoning yourself every day.

As Eric mentions, read up and take all you can from the site as I have found it a wonder of information as how to quit. Take what you can from the words of wisdom and others Hall of Fame essays.

At 10 days you should be free of the nic in your system, now its the mind games to be aware of, so keep your guard up. Enjoy the highs and be ready to fight the lows as you are in for a wild ride.

PM me if you need anything and see you on the Dec 12 roll. I'll be watching....

Well done on the decision to quit. Now just make that same decision every day and show us you have by posting roll in the Dec12 quit group. If you are unsure how to do this, please direct yourself to the Welcome Center page and bring yourself up to speed. Again, congratulations and welcome to the new life you forge through diehard commitment to freedom from the rigors of addiction.
