Mike,

Forgive me if I overlooked it but I don't see a roll post from you in September. I am glad you are quit but are you posting roll? If not, you need to. That is how this site works.

POST ROLL, KEEP YOUR PROMISE, REPEAT TOMORROW

Mike,

Keep all of your updates in a single thread. Just keep updating the same one over and over.

Good to hear things are going well. Are you in the September quit group? If not, why not?

Day 10 with no tobacco and nicotene I feel like I traded one habit for another.

Spanking your monkey really isn't a habit, it's more a compulsion. Oh wait, did you mean mint snuff? I chewed Oregon mint for almost 2years. Quitting that was easier than getting laid in a women's prison with a fist full of pardons. Ounce for ounce nicotine is more deadly than cobra venom. Mint snuff may give you a cavity. Your freeing yourself from addiction , don't worry about trading an addiction for a habit.
"CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit. After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco."

Played golf with friends this morning, they were chewing tobacco and it did not bother me. The mint chew is starting to taste better, I know this because I havenÂ’t had the desire to lick my ass all day. Although the mint stuff tasted terrible when I started it has really helped to curb the cravings. I am very glad that there is something like this available. I always said they have help for fat people that smoke, but there wasnÂ’t anything for thin people that chew. And now we have mint chew.
Mike B,

I am glad you are quit and that fake chew is helping you. Just don't let fake chew lead into the real stuff. I know that is why I chose not to do the fake stuff. Just a thought man. Stay quit!

Does anyone know if Jakes mint snuff is really nicotine and tobacco free.

Mike,
Glad to see you here quitting brother. The first couple of days are the hardest and don't ever forget that. If you cave, just think about what you will have to go through again. I'm not sure about the "fake dip" you are talking about and not sure if it has any nicotine or not. I do know that gum and sunflower seeds don't have any nicotine and they both have worked well for me. The best method for me has been to get really pissed off thinking about what nicotine has done to people's families and know that it was trying to do the same damn thing to mine. Just say fuck the nic bitch daily.

Another thing that works well is posting roll and keeping your word one day at a time. Just stick it out and it will get easier with time bro. If you need anything send me a pm and I will give you my number to try and help with any craves you have.

-Brad
This might help out.

Mike... Not sure what that means! It wasn't too long ago that I was at day 4! Keep pushing through this tough time... get some exercise, drink plenty of water, get on KTC and read during any downtime or crave, keep your word for the day, post tomorrow, and keep your word again. Simple process and I know you have big enough balls to beat the nic bitch. Stay quit!
