If you didn't dump your cans you might be able to go "ninja" and hide it from your girlfriend for a while. She will catch you eventually. Quitting is hard. Posting roll is easy. Posting roll makes it much easier to quit.
I'm quitting for me now. I read Toms story on here, and it hit me, hard. It's something I can't believe I do. I'm literally putting a revolver to my head and pulling the trigger. It's like playing Russian roulette. It may not be this round, but I could be next. I'm freakin done.
Get yourself on roll call here.

Are you going to post roll?

I've been dipping for several years on and off (started at 15). I'm finally ready, at 21 years old to quit. My girlfriend of 3 years has finally had enough as well. She told me that if I can't kill the can, then we're finished. My girlfriend had actually found the site for me, and thought it would be helpful. I'm going home, and dumping all that shit out. Any help on joining a quit group and any other suggestions is greatly appreciated.
Rkb, Stranger is spot on. As a 31 year chewer, quit friggen right now. Don't dick around with chewing and quitting later, quit right now. There is no time like the present. And, you've got to do it for you first. Chew is some nasty shit man, think about it. If you can't come up with enough good reasons yourself, take a long read on this site. Here is one to get started with: Jenny and Tom Kerns Story

Quit for yourself, quit today, and quit with all of us here! We are here with you.

If your quit date ends up being June 23rd your quit group is September here...

September quit group

If it is June 24th or later you are in October...

October quit group

What matters most is that you are making a really great decision. But don't quit for your girlfriend - that will never work. Quit for yourself every damn day. You said that you're ready and I hope that is true. Quitting isn't easy. You need to make it through "the suck". Post your promise here to quit for 24 hours every day. Keep your promise. Repeat. There is an army of quitters here waiting to help you.

I quit with you today! :)
