Glad to hear you made the choice. Make that choice every day and tell us about it hear. Looking forward to posting with you.

CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit. After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco. SportDad 1/13/05 via Remshot

Yes congrats!! Use your group, ask questions, get into chat, get phone numbers. Have the wherewithall and guts (or balls if it pleases you) to stay quit. It is a life changing decision that you will never regret!! Always ask questions or ask for help when you need it.

Day 1 was yesterday..not too bad. It really hit me when i was alone..sitting in my bed. Its a hell of a lot easier when your around people..family, girlfriend etc. I found myself getting pretty depressed. Been chewing a lot of gum which seems to help a bit.

But yeah, Im Ian, 19 years old. Been chewing since mid junior year in highschool till yesterday (sophmore in college). Picked up the habit playing baseball in highschool, i chewed about a tin every 3 days. Quitting for my future..atfirst..i cant say i was 100% into quitting, but after that first day..seeing what that shit did to me..how it made me feel, its outta here.
Welcome Ian and congrats on a great decision to quit!
indeed... head over to the january 2009 quit group and say hi and post roll!

This is for me. I can only be upset with me, because if it wasn't for me, me wouldn't be here right now.
