Hello All,

I am on my third day of quitting and I feel like I chugged a gallon of whiskey last night! This is awful. The first two days were not this bad! I have been chewing for nearly 9 years and am so happy to quit but this sucks!
Welcome to KTC, as Pinched said you are right in the middle of the suck. This is the effect of 9 years of nicotine use leaving your body.

Keep drinking water, so much water every time you pass a restroom you need to piss.

Fight and remember how this feels, so you don't have to go through this shit again. Post roll, and get accountable, were here to help you, reach out and take it.

Welcome to KTC
Welcome Schilltk! Great choice to be a quitter!
What you are experiencing is normal, it is nicotine creating a fuss as it leaves your system. It will get better and keep getting better with time. Drink water and exercise! Post roll every day, reach out and meet your brothers in your quit group.
You can do this!
Yep, you are getting great advice. You are in the midst of the misery. Put it front and center in your memory banks for use later. When the suck leaves, and it does, and a dip starts to sound like a good idea, you can look back on this misery and think... HELL NO, I AINT GOING THROUGH THAT AGAIN!

You are doing this. QUit with you.
When I was deep in suck like you I found this place too and I am damn glad I did. To quote Scodaddy the sherpas came and helped me through it. I drank a lot of cranberry juice days I didn't drink it I felt worse then days I did. When you are deep in the suck you are willing to try anything.

Read read read arm yourself with the info you need to fight your opponent the NIC bitch.

Read HOF speeches you are not alone.
PM me if you need anything.
Yes, like said, welcome to the suck. Anything that makes you feel that bad when you refrain can't be that good can it? The good news: The is the last time you have to go through the suck. Remember how bad this is. It is a memory that will serve you well next time the nic bitch whispers in your ear. She is a liar.

schilltk,
You my friend are experiencing the SUCK. Which is aptly named because the first 72 hours while nicotine is leaving you body it sucks. You probably feel like you are walking around in a fog and can't think or operate as normal. This is normal, it is Nicotine trying to tell your ape brain that you cannot function without it. This is a great time to use the tools from this site, now post roll and let us help you help yourself.

Now read up the info on the site Welcome Center

Learn how to post roll How to Post Roll

Then post Roll here Pre-HOF February 2014 Quit Group

Post Roll daily. This is your promise to stay quit, understand that KTC is all about brotherhood and Accountability. Make sure that these words mean something to you. Also understand that all of us quitters care so when a cave happens people will take that shit personally. We invest time into people and the quit groups are like tight families of quit.

Finally, I recommend that you find an alternative, fake dip, candy, gum, mints, etc. Drink lots of water, so much that you cannot pass a bathroom without having to piss.

P.S. All of the above underlined words are links to the site.

You can do this,

Pinched
"If you want to quit then stop talking and just QUIT. If you want to kill yourself a bullet is cheaper and faster than a tin, plus it eliminates my hearing you whine and cry like a bitch."

Best thing I have read on KTC...Submitted by tgafish on 7/3/14

Former Skoal Straight and Cope Longcut user that started at the age of 12. QUIT on 7/15/13
