Wow.... you were one of the original IRONMEN, I look up to those guys a lot.

Exactly today would have been your 1700 day quit, if you would not have turned your back on your brothers.

A lot of those guys still post every damn day, they are like real life brothers.

I hope you do it right this time, man I don't know how the hell I would feel throwing away 1,700 days.

I wish you the best, but as I'm sure you know, there is no hoping and wishing, there is only HARCORE, BADASS QUITTING.... that is how you stay quit.

Be a leader in your group and answer the questions.
Be humble... grow everyday.

I fear I will always be chasing the vortex like a drug. None will be as special as my first hit.

Thanks guys!! Day 2 has been pretty good. A little bit of anxiety this morning when I realized I didn't have any dip. This was after waking up at 3:30 soaked with sweat. No worries though, some gum and a little bit of Dunkin Donuts turbo ground coffee as dip substitute has done a good job. Haven't even really thought about it much past this morning, but I did stay pretty busy. Dropped my niece and nephew off after watching them last night and then headed to the grocery store. Got what we needed and then went out to cut us down a Christmas tree. Got home and took care of rotating the tires and changing the oil on my truck. Mail lady came with replacement tail lights for my boat trailer so I went ahead and put those on. Now I'm back in the house playing a little guitar and feeling good that the nicotine bitch hasn't gotten the best of me today!! The funny thing is just about every thing I've done today should have been a huge trigger, but it wasn't bad at all. After eating seems to be my biggest trigger, so I'll have to be vigilant with that. Thanks again for the encouragement!!!!
Hang tough Terp. You can do it. Watch out I'm pretty sure the nic bitch'll creep up on you when you least expect it. Be sure to be prepared and have a plan for when it does.

I'm quitting with you today.
Nice job bro! Keep battling today. You are doing great. I'm quit with you all day long!

First off, congrats for making the decision to flush that nasty shit where it belongs. Second, make this site like a 2nd home for you, the people on here are your lifeline, you may think "i can do this on my own" and some can, but if you're like me, i'd never had really quit without these BADASS QUITTERS!

Reach out and collect numbers, get to know your fellow quitters and dont hesitate to call/text/pm if you think at all that you're gonna cave and put a giant turd in your lip. Also, if you cant post roll for some reason on whatever day, text someone so they can do it for you. If you go MIA and dont post roll, you go on the shit list and people assume you've caved. Promise to all of us each day, one day at a time, that you will stay quit and not use nicotine that day. And I will do the same. I quit with you Brother, today. We'll promise tomorrow when it comes.

Waz up bigtwerp i mean bigterp. You will do this only if you can sack it up and kick the bitchez ass. She will be very upset with you soon and will be after you to come back but stay on this site and read brother.

There are lots of things to check out. Venture out and find the boobie pics on here or if thats not your style there is a verse of the day section on here. Sports your thing? Plenty to talk about. Also the live chat is helpful.

Or start PMing - inbox(1) - people for the hell of it.

Thanks for all the advice!!! I've got a pretty busy weekend ahead, so that should help keep my mind focused elsewhere. But like was already said.......I'll worry about tomorrow, tomorrow!!

Quick question. The posts in each thread seem to be backwards on here for some reason. Say there are 10 pages of posts in a thread, the bottom of the 10th page is the first post and the top of the 1st page is the most recent post. Is that just the way this forum is setup, or is there a way I can change that? It's rather annoying.
Great choice.

Welcome to the Big Leagues of Quit BT! Load yourself up with alternatives...seeds, fake dip, hard candy, (nearly)anything you can shove in your mouth besides a big wad of death. No sugarcoating it, this isn't an easy ride you've chosen to take, the first few days will be bumpy as fuck, but just remember once you go through it, you'll never have to endure it again (long as you don't fuck up and cave).

Remember everyone here has endured what you'll experience. Lean on us for help/advice/bitch sessions, etc... You get pissed off? Don't take it out on family/friends, instead, come bitch to us, we can take it. PM me for a #, collect as many of these as possible, trust me they'll come in handy.

Well, I had my last dip this morning and am finally ready to give this junk up for good!!! Posted my roll in the March 2014 quit group shortly after flushing the rest of my copenhagen down the toilet. Actually felt pretty good. I had a half-assed attempt to quit about a year or so ago, but I was a pussy and gave in. Not going to happen this time!!

I had my first chew at about 12 or 13, and was a full fledge addict by age 15. I remember riding my bike in town to our local gas station where they would actually sell it to me. Now I'm 32 years old and still hooked on the shit. I'm buckling up and getting ready for a hell of a weekend!!
Welcome to march madness BT!!! Welcome to being a quitter!
