Bignate hit the nail on the head. Why don't you come back when you "want" to quit. Quitting isn't a here and there type of thing. It is an all the fucking time thing. I got news for you...you'll be in another store that sells Grizzly. You have to get good and godammed determined that you WILL be quit no matter what the fuck happens or wherever you go. You gotta want to be free. Nobody is going to do this for you.

"No internet service" - excuse
"just wanted one" - excuse
"quit for seven months" - goody for you. Might ask your family to put that on your headstone, huh?
"beloved Grizzly' - holy shit...
hoping you're on the "road to well-being" - not even an excuse really...just more milktoast bullshit

You gotta get determined. You have to get angry. Excuses are like assholes...everyone's got one and they all stink. We're addicts here...which means we are fluent in excuse-making bullshit. We spot it a mile away. You need to read about what it means to post roll. You need to read the Tom  Jenny Kern story. You need to decide to QUIT, or just talk about it. We're here to support you. But you have to get serious.

Bignate76... There is no reason to be abusive to anyone who is trying to do something good for themselves. I was being honest while answering questions and I did so without cursing, belittling, or otherwise verbally attacking anyone. I really would've expected more from someone who is claiming to encourage others to do what he himself has already done. I see I was wrong.
Quitting sucks and is for those that have a lot of intestinal fortitude. We that have learned what it takes to quit are preparing you and also checking to see if we think you have it, if not we will try to increase your strength through some tough love. By your original joining date you would be in the July2012 group, the group of my brothers and you would be posting 900 days this week. I can tell you for a surety that posting role daily is the key. Please prove to us that you have what it takes to quit, post roll daily.

Don't get me wrong Kos... I hope to hell you quit and stay quit. I'll be your biggest supporter on here. As a matter of fact after this post check your inbox, I'll PM you my phone number... Call or text anytime you are on that ledge and thinking about jumping.

Your comments read like so many that come on here to fail. We have seen intro's like this over and over.. You are claiming to quit, while still sweet talking the can. Stop romancing what is ultimately going to kill you. You need to get pissed. You need to understand the tobacco companies just want your hard earned $$ and don't give a shit about you. Grizzy has never done a fucking thing for you, yet you're talking about it like it's giving you hourly BJ's and you don't want to piss it off just in case you decide in a few days you want another BJ... Come on man...

You guys are morons. That wasn't showing adoration for nicotine, dumbass. It was sarcasm.
This moron will wait until your next Day 1 when you are serious about your quit instead of sarcastic.

The whining gets to be a bit of a broken record around here. Kudos to the regular vets like 30 that keep at it despite this nonsense.

Newsflash: If you don't like the way the site helps you quit, tough shit. Find another site. If you want to toughen up and actually quit that addictive shit, stay here and quit.

Jmckinnon, we HATE nicotine here, so when someone comes in and is showing adoration towards it we tend to get upset. If you are going to be quit, you need to hate nicotine and every facet of it.

You better man up quickly Kosciusko... because from what I'm seeing the nic bitch is already beating you down again...

"my beloved Grizzly"
"my stinky little friends"
"The truth of the matter is I just WANTED one"

Fucking grow a pair and quit. Think your Grizzy loves you back, or that your stinky little friends give a shit about you? You are one hell of a man if you still feel that way from six feet under the ground, or sucking your dinner through a straw because you lost half your face to mouth cancer. We all know that's what's going to happen... Let see how funny this all is then.

Why don't you walk your half-ass quit self down to Parkway Cemetery. You know the one off S Huntington... Find Robert Hately's grave... and tell my Uncle that I lost to cancer his 2 boys are doing great, his wife remarried and moved away, and that we all still love and miss him... He was 51.

Good luck with your "quit". When you are serious about it.. let me know.

I have been here before indeed. I made it much longer than a day back in 2012... more than 7 months to be exact. Then the cave...

Answers to your questions:

1. I walked into the store after several months, bought a can, grabbed a pinch, and never looked back...

2. I suppose I could say stress, habit, addiction, etc... The truth of the matter is I just WANTED one. This addiction is crazy.

3. I am doing things far differently! Changing my stops to stores that do not carry my beloved Grizzly for starters! When the urge hits, I am planning on coming straight back here and reading (something I was unable to do last time bc of lack of internet service)! Add to those teo things exercise and hydration and I hope I am on the road to well-being.
Beloved Grizzly???

Dude, are you really ready to be free?
Do you even know what nicotine is?

You're gonna have to grow a pair, own up, man up to be quit.

So you stopped for 7 months, yet have 5 posts including todays? Step 1 is posting roll every day, are you willing to do that? Let me throw a free tip out as well - learn to hate Grizzly. If you love it so much, why is it going to kill you?

You can find all the support you need here, but it takes effort.

Good morning, all! I say that because I just took my Grizzly Snuff Pouches and dumped them. To be honest, a bit of panic hit me as I watched my stinky little friends fall away and realized that I no longer have that familiar little circle in my pocket.

I am 38 and have been dipping since around age 10. It has been such an integral part of my life that I cannot imagine doing the things that I do without it, so I am here to seek out as much help as I can! I have "quit" once or twice before, but those damned old triggers had me buying cans before I even knew I was in a store! Haha.

My plan is to combat this addiction with support, exercise, LOTS of water, and the good folks here. Bring on the funk!
Look like you have been here before. When did you cave?

EDIT - looks like you made it a day in 2012. Please answer these 3 questions here, in your new group, and old group:

1. What happened?

2. Why did it happen?

3. What will you do differently this time?
