OK this is odd. Its like the 4th time I've quit for at least 3 days but there's something different this time. I'm having no withdrawal symptoms. The last times quitting was so hard and I had a lot of symptoms. This time I've hardly had a crave no shaking or headaches. Nothing. Can anyone explain this!!!!!!! Ohh last night I had a dream about dipping that's it. This is very peculiar.
You had an intro from 3 days ago and Why is your name not on Roll???

Roll is the price of admission!

Had a feeling. UGGGGGG fucking trolls, now please continue with your previously scheduled quits!!!
Hey,, i think i'll quit today. Oh, it's that hard to quit!! I got to go through what! Hell no not me!!! I enjoy putting poison in my lip. Putting poison in my mouth is so much better than manning up and taking my life back. I love spending my hard earned money on something that's killing me ever so slowly.

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

Any advice for getting over the one week is much appreciated.
ONE DAY AT A TIME!!
It is as simple as that.
BEST ADVICE EVER! Make NO excuses, and focus on one day at a time. We all have bad days and you can vent to us. We sure will. Be real. And honest and you will make it!
ONE DAY AT A TIME!
Congrats on a great decision Delta. Listen closely to Jake and WT's comments. If you dip, it will be because you CHOSE to do so. It will be because you CHOSE to make a a bunch of little decisions that led to you CHOOSING to fail. See the trend here? Dipping is a choice. There are no excuses other than you CHOSE to to dip. Say no to the bitch and CHOOSE to be stay free today. CHOOSE a bit of short term discomfort.

Welcome aboard! The good news is that it gets SOOO much better.
*Quit today. Full stop. No qualifiers. Tomorrow?... IDK, IDC.

Not much to add Delta, other than welcome. Own your quit and remember how this shit feels, so when you think about a crave or a cave, you don't want to do this again.

Welcome and I quit with you today

Welcome Delta! I appreciate the shout out from EFN Kodiak. Kill The Can works this way. Quitters helping quitters.

I dipped hard core for about 25 years. I miss it very much. Today is day 165 of Quit. Just yesterday I was at QT getting some seeds and the guy in front of me orders a fucking LOG of Kodiak. I just stood there drooling. Are you kidding me?? I'm on my way to baseball practice and some asshole orders a log of Kodiak right in front of me. He forked over $22.00 and left. My seeds were $2.00.

My point? I still crave the can. I always will I think. As I left QT yesterday I had to pat myself on my back. The nic bitch is everywhere and is looking to strike.

Keep patting yourself on the back. Get through the day without dipping. If I can quit.....YOU can quit. By the way...I have saved about $1,300 in about 6 months. The wife and I are going on vacation in July.

Great choice Delta. Here we post roll everyday which is a promise remain quit for the day. One of the sayings is "one day at a time." This is how you need to look at it as you move beyond the first week. Stay close to this site and read, read, read. Also check out the welcome center tab at the top of the page.

The first week sucked for me, but the following weeks were just as tough. Use the tools here so that you are prepared when any major triggers or craves hit you. Write down why you want to quit. This helps put things into perspective during the beginning of your quit. Print out, read the "contract to give up" and keep it with you.

My first few days on this site KCBronco suggested that I try dill pickle sunflower seeds and strawberry gum. I ended up getting some of both and the seeds were pretty nasty tasting. It worked cause I didn't cave. Try anything and see what works - toothpicks, hard candy, gum, fake chew, beef jerky - Just don't cave and let the nicotine continue to own you.

Suck it up, own your quit, and post roll. I'm on day 78 and I couldn't have done it without the tools at KTC.
