Okay RD this is the place to get it done. There is no better group of men and women fighting addiction daily. Any of them willing to help someone in need. You can't buy this kind of support. All it takes is a some backbone and gigantic balls of steel. That's it. Being you're new, I would suggest a few things:

1. Hit the warm, inviting, hot pink 'Welcome Center' link in the upper left. That will give you an idea of how things work. One of those things is roll call.

2. Roll call is how we do it here. We put our word down once a day that we will quit for one day. This is you putting down your word. You a man of your word? If so, I encourage you doing it now. We post roll every day. No excuses. Don't fuck with the program. You can't get to a computer? You text it in. You ain't got numbers? Get some.

3. You quit group is November 2012. Great group of folks. Get to know them. They will be there when you need help. The thing is asking for it. Anyone of those fuckers will give you a hand but you got a let them know.

How to post roll: Here

4. Be proactive. Quit don't just get delivered at Christmas. You got to fight for it. You got to prepare. Get a plan together. Fight.

5. Read. There is an endless fountain of knowledge here. Read it all. The intros, the HOF speeches, all of it. Then read it again.

Get involved and stay involved. You got this. I know its possible cause I can do it and I'm a bit of a mental midget. Welcome aboard.

Addicted and I know it. Have been for years. I haved tried for two weeks to quit and set out to do it and there I find myself at the fucking convenience store. I have been sober for 21 years but this has always been there. Looking for any help I can get.
