Welcome to the site. You've come to the right place.

Sounds like you have been here before? Where/when did you learn the term, "embracing the suck?"
Welcome to the site Runningbear! Glad to see you made the decision to save your own life!

What is your story? Where are you from? What inspired you to quit?

Remshot- I heard that phrase all the time in the military, long before I knew about KTC
Thank you Chief!

CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit.
After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco. SportDad 1/13/05

Hello all. Today is the first day of being dip free. I don't feel that great. Mostly irritable and a headache haha. I really need to quit. Started when I was 16 and I just turned 32. I didn't dip all that much( a can every 4-5 days), but I'm not waiting for my luck to run out. I'm excited about quitting this poison I used to stick in my mouth.

Kind regards,
Jim
Welcome running bear. I wanted to touch on one part of your intro that should be considered " I didn't dip all that much( a can every 4-5 days)"............brother, an addict is an addict. We don't quantify here, we quit.

Substitute "shoot heroin" for dip in that sentence and you'll see what I mean. I Hope to see a day 2 in October posted soon!
