Next time go to the welcome center first
nichuf,
congrats on posting roll... great decision. don't worry about posting roll correctly... we'll clean up after you. still, try to get it right by following the directions below or at the welcome center link above.
now the rules for posting roll:
1. post
early... it's a promise for the day, not a status update ala facebook or twitter (i.e. not "hey guys i made it today").
2. keep your word. no nic for any reason.
3. repeat in the morning
things to make your quit stronger:
1. read, read, read... i read something from the words of wisdom or HoF speeches every day. you should probably do more in the beginning.
2. get involved. post in the intro section, answer folks in your quit group, post in other quit groups, go into chat, etc. the more folks you get to know the stronger your quit will be.
3. exchange cell numbers. there's no better cure for a crave than a text or call to a quit brother/sister. if you can't get to a computer to post roll, you can text or phone it in. you can be there for a friend in need. all powerful quit tools.
you've likely tried to quit in the past and failed. nic is a bitch of a drug to quit... especially alone. here you've got thousands of quitters watching your six. we've been there, we've done that. if you're going through shit, let us help you by speaking up and letting us know. that's a sign of strength, not weakness. hell, i've had to do it recently, and i'm closer to the second floor than the first.
proud to be quit with you, brother.
