Well you a**holes sure know how to get to a man. 'Finger' It's all gone. The half can I had left is gone in the work dumpster. This feels like the right thing to do but it also feels like I'm turning my back on a loved one.
Dumpster Diving Exhibition in 1 Hour folks. Location is Cody's work place.

Flush that shit Cody and seriously, if your quit is half-assed like that statement of "Loved One" we here at KTC have a lot of work to do.
Ha ha Mog,
I hope they have security cameras on Codys work trash cans....
No dumpster diving, I opened it up and poured it in. Everything you guys have said has been spot on. I've been saying "tomorrow" for a year now. I want to quit for me and my health most importantly. When you sit there in disgust with the fact that you let a can of worm dirt rule your life is one of the most helpless feelings. I don't want to feel that anymore.

Hey Cody, I get how you are feeling about losing a friend and probably being afraid to say goodbye. I felt the same way. You have got to just dive in and have faith that the love you feel for your dip is a big huge fucking lie! Read as much as you can about our ADDICTION. You have got to really want this. Its too hard of a thing to do unless you are fully committed and want to be free more than anything. The temporary pain you will feel in the beginning is a small price to pay for being free.

So let me get this straight you are reducing your nicotine (slow Band Aid pull) your cells are screaming for nicotine....you are foggy times X days....hmmm sounds like you like misery...I hear a bunch of addict speak in your intro....

One quit today tomorrow will never come (also so help me if I type all this out and you disappear) how many tomorrows have you already had.

Two we don't quit because we are scared, policy or loved ones...You quit for YOU...all the others are motivators but problem with motivation it is short lived. The only constant in the equation is YOU sounds selfish well it is you are taking your life back. YOU no longer want to be a slave...to UST

So my suggestion for a plan is dump your "closure can addict speak" and within 72 hours the nicotine will be gone and that my friend is when the real quitting starts....start by building your tool box...many suggestions have been made on how to do that...read read read listen learn, get numbers talk text what have you.

PM me if you need a number

OH and another thing go make it right with Raider...all we have is our word don't make yours worthless.

Hey everyone, my names Cody and I'm quitting on 8/28/14. I was in chat talking to raider and well I kinda lied about not having any dip. So raider if you read this sorry! I have a half can left, I have to get rid of it for closure... Which is why tomorrow is my quit date.

For the last month, I have severely cut back my dips due to my new workplace being a tobacco free area. I've gone from 1-1/2 to 2 cans a day to 2-3 dips a day. I have even feeling super foggy on a daily basis, like a dull feeling inside my head... And dizzy and weak. Sort of how you feel when you don't each much in a day. I was guessing this is the foggy feeling I've read about, and I'm only prolonging it by only cutting back.

Do you guys have any suggestions regarding this site to be actively involved here? I'm really nervous about upcoming hunting season and my quitting...

Anyways, nice to meet you all.
You are not going to quit tomorrow. If you are going to quit you need to flush that half can down the toilet right freaking now, grab your balls to reassure your manhood, look yourself in the mirror and call yourself an addict, then get on here post roll and read all you can. This will prepare yourself for the suck. But, right now you are addressing your quit as if you are thinking about washing the car. Dancing around in your head that it might rain so I will wait til tomorrow. To address the lying to Raider, well we quit around here with accountability and your word is your word. Nicotine makes you lie and I get that, so thanks for owning up to it and apologizing to Raider (who is a master quitter BTW).

Hey Cody, what I'm trying to say is Quit Now if you are going to quit. Tomorrow will take care of itself. If you are reading my words and you feel they are confrontational, well, Ive just seen this shit too much and I know how nicotine works.

Nice to meet you too.

Hey, how about flushing the can and making your quit date 8-27 instead. That's my support for you. Do that first.

be active as you can here. You'll get all the help you need if you just reach out here. BUT--- QUIT TODAY!!! QUIT NOW!!!!! the next dip you take may be the one that starts your cells mutating... that = cancer. You found your way here, now just get some balls up and quit. NOW. Throw the rest in the toilet, scrape the can completely clean into there, then FLUSH! Then come back here. Get it over with, get started on claiming your life back from a can of poison!
This info helped me early on, and still does today: https://whyquit.com/whyquit/linksaaddiction.html

Quitters I’ve met so far: Ihatecope, >Pinched<, T-Cell, grizzlyhasclaws, Canvasback, BaseballPlayer, Cbird65, ERDVM, BradleyGuy, Ted, Zeno, AppleJack, Bronc, Knockout, MookieBlaylock, Rdad, 2mch2lv4, MN_Ben, Natro, Lippizaner, Amquash, ChristopherJ, GDubya, SRohde  -- always eager to meet more!
