Hello,
My name is Chris Manuel. I've been lurking around this site and visiting a little on the IM board for about a month now. I began chewing 11 years ago and had never made any serious attempt at quitting until recently. 23 days ago I finally decided to quit and I owe a lot to this site for the information and stories provided by its members. I am wondering how I join a quit group and looking for any more advice in regards to staying quit as I move forward. I can't believe I've made it 23 days already. I was so addicted it was sickening. Thanks for the help!
23 days on your own is HUGE. you deserve a coke and a smile on that bro.
If you can do 23 on your own....you will find quittin with us a piece of cake....
Post roll early, keep your word for that day and do not use any nicotine. Read, Read, Read and Read some more......info on quittin, what to expect, empathy from folks that have been there and are where your at....entertainment, and involvement with some of the best friends you've never met.
I have kicked an almost 30 year habit with cope....for almost 400 days....one day at a time. You can do this, we can help.
