Welcome Kyle, glad to have you with us. The first three days or so are definitely the worst. You've come to the right place. Stick to the program and make some contacts. It works. If you need anything, let me know.

Hey Kyle;

I'm winding day 3 down, so we're pretty much in the same boat. Each day so far has been very different than the previous, and if I understand things correctly (which I don't always do BTW), tomorrow will be an even different brand of suck. But man, things are looking up.

I posted roll today, and it felt good to tell the group I'd stay Nic free. Weird that it works but it did.

Let's quit together tomorrow too bro!

Just be prepared for the fog and funk stages. Yes, each day will be different. Some days will suck and some won't. Be strong in your quit and you will be successful. Just remember we don't quit for the long term. Quitting one day at a time is manageable. Glad to be quit with you both today.

Thanks MCO!
I had to push up my quit date because my job decided to let me know that starting next monday. We were a tobacco free work place. They told me last Thursday and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were pure hell for me. I'm a can to a can and a half a day guy I only dipped one time each of those days just to keep the edge off the headaches. Finally yesterday I was able to go a full 24hrs without and no real problems. Just a little dizzy. I was lucky that the local walmart had Some Smokey MTN Snuff. Everything I tried didn't seem to help. Nothing really felt right. But this stuff is the best I could find on such short notice. I have a nicotine/ cotinine test scheduled thursday for work. Hopefully I can keep it all up and stay away from it for good. I already feel much better.
Don't worry about forever, just today. Go to the salmon welcome center above and learn about posting roll. I hope your job isn't the reason your quitting. Motivation to quit must be because you want it more than anything else. Drop hope from your quit vocabulary, we just quit!
I do want to quit for myself my job is just speeding up the process. I'm tired of knowing how much dip I have at any given point, but if you were to ask me to give an estimate of how much I got in the checking account I'd just say I don't know. IT has taken over my life. I'm just over it. I honestly have seen no point in why I do it, but have been afraid to take that first step because of the horror stories I've heard about quitting. I just keep telling myself when I feel bad, "Kyle, you did this to yourself. You're the only one who can fix it. Only got to suffer once"

Congrats on the quit kswat07,

I had something similar happen to me, I planned to quit in May, decided to move it up and now I'm on day 5.

You're in the right place if you're serious about quitting. Everyone here is extremely helpful and honestly some of the most selfless people I've ever met. Day 2 is no easy task, but trust me it gets a little easier every day.

If you need anything PM me or head to the live chat

I'm proud to quit with you kswat07

Hey everyone. The name's Kyle (kswat07). I am on day two of my quit. Still strong so far. I had to quit almost 6 weeks before my official quit date I had planned. I think my last minute plans are working out well. I'll admit I'm a bit nervous though!
