Welcome to the Brotherhood Jon. It is going to be a long crazy ride but all of us in the BROTHERHOOD are behind you 100%.
Make that promise to not pick that can up ever again, you will want to, but don't give in to the Nic Bitch. She will whisper sweet nothings in your ear to get you to re-commit to her.
Post roll EDD and take it one day at a time.
Stay quit my brother.
2 Timothy 1:7 - For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

My Name is Jon- I've been a compulsive dipper for 11 years and I need to quit dipping this terrible product. I have a wife and 3 kids that need there husband and father, and this product is going to kill me. I have used this as crutch for stress and weight loss and it's just been one big excuse to keep using. I really enjoy working out and watching all kinds of sports for my leisure time. Tobacco has been nothing but negative in my life, I'm paying someone to kill me basically. It's time to start living my life Tobacco free and my journey begins now!!!

Welcome John, you're in the right place. Post everyday when you wake up. Get tough.
Nice Day 1 post, Jon. You nailed it when you said it's just been an excuse to keep using. The only thing nicotine is good for is temporary relief of nicotine withdrawal symptoms. Don't be afraid to kick some ass here and immerse yourself in Quit.
Jon, this is tough, but you can do this. Quit for today, stay close to this site for inspiration and support for the first days of suck. Freedom from nicotine is better than you can imagine.
