On Oct 12, 2015 I said no more to the can!! It was one of the greatest, toughest, and most wise life choices I have ever made. The only thing I can say, "NO WAY WOULD I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS WITH THE AWESOME BAQRS WHO CAME BESIDE EARLY ON AND THOSE WHO ARE STILL SUPPORTING TODAY"!!! Thank you!!! I have decided to quit another Ninja, sneaky, not good for me addiction- Drinking! As with chewing the only people that kn-ew I drank are those close to me as I never drank in public. I would say, its just a few beers a night to bring me down, but its too much as its been heavy on my heart to quit for a long time. So I plan on using the same tools I used to quit chewing and just quit ODAAT and not worry about tomorrow, I can do that tomorrow!! If you put something on paper and admit it out loud, that changes everything. Thanks Again!!

Thanks for all the encouragement and advice on how to stay quit and be an encourager to others. Day-10, the word around here, is in the fog, to me it feels like a black cloud that is following me, but because of past experiences, I know the sun is still shinning everyday, just some days there's a cloud in the way. I quit with The KTC BAQs!!!!
I haven't wrote in this spot since day 10, wow 90 days ago!, I m working on my hof speech but its gonna be a minute, just would like to thank and reachout to some bad asses that I owe my 100 days too. Wbfl- the man that gave me digits when I asked around day ten, we swore that day we would get to 100 together and within the last week we promised til the end what ever that might be ( thank you Brother). To my add on wmds-Hasben,whiggs,wvc- you guys help my quit more than you will ever know, I look for you daily and know your looking for me and that is more than I have words for as I don't want to let you done and vice versa I m sure. DBG- Bad Ass Quitter and Proud to be quit with you Sir! To all who reached out after my intro speech with encouragement and to PXC who I questioned one night in the Chat Room if this shit really worked? And he kindly said Yes friend it does and talked me back to earth that night and has supported me all the way til today. Quit on tough Guy! The Dog House, the bunch of misfits, trash talkin, I'm right, your wrong Dogs, Thank you, even though I 've never done the ssoa I think I could look at roll and within two minutes I could tell you who's missing. Last but not least my best friend Texas Tim who is the most non condemning encouraging friend a man could ever have and has been with me on this journey to quit 10 times a 100 days.
Thank and Good Night 'worship'

Quittolive, you've got a few people in here pledging support who have all quit within the last 6 months. Draw on their experiences. Read their introduction threads, get a sense of the people you're here with. It is still fresh for all of them and that helps during the worst parts of this battle. Standing quit with you today.
"Post roll. Post more if you want to. That's the beauty of the place: We ask you post roll. We ask you to be honest. That's all. No more. No less. Be there for your brothers and ask for help when you need it." - Wastepanel 10/6/14

"What would you do to save your own life? If you were fighting cancer today would you suffer through Chemo, surgeries, try new a therapy? change your diet, go to church? What intolerable hell would you endure to simply live. When you have thought long and hard about that, think on this. Why not apply that attitude to your quit. Suffer through the temporary discomfort of withdrawal to achieve your freedom from a slow painful demise via nicotine. Your in the ring already- fight like you mean it." - Skoal Monster 10/8/14

It's going to be a rough first couple of weeks. Just accept that and you can get through it.
Howdy. They say the pen is mightier than the sword, and I'm a writer who collects pokey things. Basically you're boned either way.

You dip history is similar to mine - multiple stoppages only to go back and finger bang the can. This site and the people here made me a quitter, you can do it too.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.
