So I have one question for you bk:

Do YOU consider the cigar a cave? Forget about the answer you think I want to hear, I really want to know your thoughts.

Promise I won't yell.
I did NOT think the black was a cave at the time. I realize now, according to this site, that it was a cave. Regardless of the sites rules I realize it was a nicotine cave. Period. It sucks.
OK, good. But not ‘regardless of the site’s rules’ it should be ‘considering the site’s rules’. Just a little grammatical cleanup on aisle 5.
Unless, he personally is considering it a cave regardless of the site rules, that is after being well educated by 30 and company.
^^correct. Im saying I didn't know it was a cave, but now I do.
Excellent, now back to being a 100% quitter and 100% poster. No nicotine in any form and weÂ’re good 24/7. I threw away about $300 worth of cigars over 6 months ago, if I canÂ’t have my favorite poison, you canÂ’t have a Black  Mild.
You got it Jobin!!
I trust everything is in order now and we are now on the same page. Keep up the good work and I trust you will emerge as on the leaders in the November quit group!!! For extra accountability I invite you to post with me in December 2008.

If it's just the tip is it still cheating?

Cigar was a cave; that's why he started his day count over... But at the time he didn't understand. Important thing is BK is still here and quitting.
BK keep reading everything here, and get yourself educated about the enemy. You are not the first to fall into the nicotine delivery system trap. Lots of other pitfalls await so study up and use others failures to your advantage. QLF with you all day.

This is what was posted and there is my response. I didn't say hey go pick up another form of nicotine. I think what I said was spot on to help a guy out. Yes I said dip free because I figured explaining my situation to a new day 1 guy would discourage him so I put im over two weeks dip free which Is 100% the truth. I hate when people put words in my mouth.

Hey Guys deciding to quit dipping. My girlfriend wants me to quit and I really care about her so I need to. Any advice? I had my last dip about ten minutes ago and I'm ready to quit. It's gonna be a rough ride because all my friends dip. But feel guilt every time I put one in. I'm happy I found this site and hope it can help me overcome my addiction

Throw away all the dip cups, bottles and cans you have in the house and vehicle. Next, load up all your empty, half full and full cans and throw them away. Take the trash out. Make it so no matter how bad the craves get you will not fold. You cant fold. Everytime you think about how bad you want a dip think about losing your girlfriend. Imagine your girlfriend LOSING YOU. Fuck that shit. My wife didn't like it either, I did it for myself. Everyone does it for their own reason. I commend you for quitting but don't come here and say youre quitting just to start back up again tomorrow when shit hits the fan. IT wont be easy. AT ALL. But we are here to help you bud. Anything you need you can ask. PM me if you want. Im a little over two weeks DIP FREE. It was tough but I got through it because of the guys on here that helped me. Good luck and DO WORK! FUCK DAT BITCH
Looks encouraging to me. Glad you are encouraging others, definitely keep it up.

I try to be careful with my verbiage when talking with a new quitter and helping them get on board. I always say I've been free of nicotine for X days or weeks. I don't say dip free or even tobacco free(that leaves outs in addict minds). Let's help them take nicotine off the table. I don't want them to try to take an easy route.

All's I'm saying is make sure to stress that nicotine is the drug that we are all addicted to. Some newbs look for the easy path cause their addict minds need an out clause.

Keep up the good fight brother.
I understand what you are saying and I agree. What I said was neither right or wrong. I just didn't want to discourage the new guy. Just wanted to get him through the first day no matter what!! Quit on
Cool.

I do wish the forum (welcome center) was a little more clear and up front (maybe big bold letters somewhere) on the zero tolerance for nicotine aspect. I do think that should be clearer. We do get a lot of confused new quitters in here.

But I shouldn't complain, this program has worked wonders for me and I wouldn't have made it this far without KTC.
AGREED on all aspects
Cool. I just want to make sure that new people who come in here don't count quit days when they've actually had nicotine (whether that means nic gum, patches, cigars, pipes, lozenges, cigarettes, whatever). That would be messed up. Hopefully everyone understands clearly that we quit nicotine here and posting roll while using that other stuff is definitely dishonorable. Wish we could avoid this type of confusion.

BK, (I call my dad BK), anyway. I can tell by your posts that you are intelligent, have a good ability at deductive reasoning and are a "handshake, meet in the middle" kind of guy. Welcome. We need more of that sometimes. I completely understand your scenario and your motives behind your reasoning. Mostly what I get out of your words is that you want to be quit and you are quit; for that I applaud you. We quitters who have been around for awhile have seen many kinds of excuses, reasons, caves, lies, and half truths. I'm not calling you out on any of those, just trying to explain. None of those can be tolerated here because our ability to exist as quitters lies within our truth, our word, and our honor. It is a zero tolerance website. As far as your initial post here, I think it satisfies the 3 questions that we make cavers answer. Also, yours is one of the most sincere I have ever read. Stay here and quit with us. I don't question you at all.

Mogul
