Alright, first, sorry for not responding to my own intro thread.

Second, thanks for all the support and encouragement.

pab1964, you didn't scare me. I full well know the risks associated with it all and I know a good bit of the damage it was already causing my body. No more.

Starting my fourth day clean. Can't say it's gotten much easier but it does feel good.

Welcome to pre-HOF March 2017!

If you need someone to hold you accountable, I'm your guy! Shoot me a PM if you're interested. It would be beneficial for me too, so we'd be killing 2 flies with one swat.

Let's do this!

The definition of a quitter -

"a person who gives up easily or does not have the courage or determination to finish a task."

You can do this if you are serious about quitting and follow the proven ktc method. Post roll every day first thing in the morning, it is your promise to remain nic free for the day, one day at a time. Make connections with other quitters and rely on them for support and accountability. I quit with you today.
Quit date: September 25, 2016
HOF date: January 2, 2017
Comma date: June 21, 2019

Become as addicted to your quit as you were to nic.

Hey my friend. Welcome.
Here is where your addiction will no longer own you. You will take back your life.
I will not sugar coat it because I want you to understand what you are gonna go through to me was pure hell at times. But it's so damn worth it. Fog, constipation, diaharrea, headaches, anxiety, anger and there's more but it's a helluva of alot better than you getting starred at the rest of your life with half a jaw. Am I trying to scare you? Hell no Im being as honest as I can. You may dip until your 92 and never have cancer but there's so many more side effects that I guarantee you probably have some issues already but you're young enough you can reverse them. I started dipping at ripe age of 12, I quit at age 50 after I found ktc! I had boarder line high blood pressure for many years, never took medicine, what I didn't know then that I know now was ever time I put a dip in my blood pressure spiked 20 points or more and add my line of work which is very physical to that, heart attack age 49. Yes you're reading correctly, I dipped a full year after my massive heart attack. Even after my heart specialist told me it was the main reason i had it. Enough rattling, if you want to quit and I mean really quit, post roll Early EDD ODAAT! Exchange numbers, become active here, listen to these older guy's, they didn't get here by luck. Great job posting, deal with the suck, it's gonna take awhile but worth everything!

I've been a tobacco user since I was... 14? 15? I don't know, all I know is I've been using it for over a decade and only quit once during basic training.

I didn't think it would be a good time to quit with everything else in life going on, but I'm done.

I had my last dip last night (well, for most people it'd be morning) at about 3:30AM. Nearing 24 hours and it's getting worse.

I don't even remember how I found this site but, since it seems everybody I work with smokes/dips and so do some of my friends I need someone to go through it with me so, why not give it a shot?

Forgive the odd nature, I've been extremely foggy all day. Made grocery shopping fun. 'facepalm''
It's a great time to quit. Congrats on taking the first step!! Drink lots of water, exercise, and all the other good stuff. Make sure to tell your friends and coworkers you're quit. If they offer you one, take the can and dump it. They won't do it again.
