Your sleep paterns will return. I took about 30 -40 days for me. Then all I wanted to do was sleep for two weeks. After that everything started to be different ( In a good way ).

Chuck I know how you feel bro. I'm on day 10 and am just now getting over my insomnia episodes. Keep up the good work. And to be honest, it'll get worse before it gets better. We're all drug addicts in recovery. Post roll and put the phone #'s in your cell and call your bros if you're feeling like caving.

Thank you for your service and stay strong!

And you never once paid for drugs...NOT ONCE!

My Name is Charles and Sleep is fucking overrated.  Its day 5 now of my quit and I finally got 5 hrs straight sleep. The first 4 days I would only sleep 2 to 3 hrs and wake up for an hour and maybe get another hour or two. It’s amazing how a little can really fuck you up. Hell, besides the headache and occasional crazies attack, I feel pretty good.

My story:  I have dipped Kodiak, Skoal and Cope for 25 years now.  Started when I was 12, good ol’ Mississippi country boy.  Went in the Army at 17, first 5 years with the 82nd Airborne and retired a couple of years ago, and started contracting stateside and overseas.

Returned from Iraq in Apr and leaving again in a few weeks for Afghan.  (Yes, before Christmas again, I know it Sux). I have spent my entire teenager and adult life dipping and smoking and I am tired of the shit!!!  I quit smoking a few years ago after I got Asthma, took a hard kick in the ass to quit the fucking nasty habit and now I want to quit the NIC Bitch once and for all.

One think I have learned from my military career is there are something’s you can’t do alone and you need your buddies/teammates, etc... to help you!  I just wanted to say thanks to KillTheCan.org and the Quit Smokeless Extreme (QSX) for creating an outstanding resource to help all of us!
