Day 12 and feeling good!!

Hello:

I started my quit 12 days ago. I started dipping because a coworker was doing it and I thought why not give it a try. He's been doing it for years! Meanwhile I'm hiding dipping from my whole family. I never thought I would let something grab a hold of me like the nic bitch!!! I finally decided to stop hiding my addiction and just quit the stupid habit that was costing me $70 a month!! I am glad I decided to quit! My coworker has since decided to quit as well and is on day 2! I look forward to posting roll and reading everyone's stories.

Congratulations on your decision to quit. Go to the welcome center and read about what we do and why we do it. If you must own up to anyone about your addiction, please do that as well, you'll need as much support as you can get. The support you will find here is outstanding but is not the same as what you will receive from those closest to you. Keep in my, dipping is not a habit, it is an addiction and you are an addict. Treat your quit as such and do not discount it by calling it a habit. Get to posting roll and take ownership of your quit.
