Congrats on the best decision you could make Swift! Post-roll every damn day! The first couple of weeks will suck - with each day sucking a little bit less. You have a lot of strong quitters on this board - everyone of them willing to help you out - especially through the really tough times.

Lets do this together - one day at a time. PM me if you want to exchange digits - I will be there for you. Today is day 100 for me - after 35 years of being held hostage by the nic bitch. Lets get days 1 started for you - then we can focus on day 2.

This site has a lot of stuff to read on how to get through the tough times - read it -especially when you begin to question / doubt your quit. Reach out to fellow quitters and get it done.

I quit with you today Swift. Buckle up for the next 3 days and get that shit out of your system. After that it is mind over kicking the nic bitch in the Northwest baby cave.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Today is Day 1... I found this place this morning after I put about my fourth dip in and realized how much I hate being addicted to this shit. I read through several stories and in one of them is said to MAN UP. After reading that I spit out my dip, spread the remaining dip in a flower bed, and buried the can.

I am in the October Quit Group "TITANS OF QUIT" and I will succeed.

Thanks for the great community.

Scream it with me - FUCK YOU GRIZZLY!!!
Fuck

yeah

man

You just made my day.

You will succeed because you control your actions. Nobody else can make you use. Nobody else can make you fail. Just you...

Now, prep up. Have a plan to stay quit. You've posted roll, and I see you've been reading. Keep reading, and make some friends. Write some stuff, and let your words come back to haunt you when times look bleak. Seriously, I've talked so much shit here and made so many friends that failure is not an option. Drink tons of water. Like, tons. Limit your caffeine. Exercise. Have seeds, gum, herbal snuff, fireballs, dildoes...whatever you need to keep you quit on hand. You don't want to be in search when a crave attacks.

Most importantly, grab some numbers and strap in. There are so many badasses here it's not even funny. We're doing it, and we know you can do it.
FUCK YOU GRIZZLY!!!!

Welcome I said that for the first time 125 days ago. If I can quit so can you. Its simple here we post roll early in the day and honor our promise not to use nic for 24 hours. Then we wake up and do it again. With you all day brother if you need anything don't hesitate to reach out.

In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

I want everyone to be quit. Even the assholes.-Probe1957 1/18

Ignoring history or erasing history fixes nothing and leads you inevitably down the same path.-69franx 04/30/2021

The advice I would add for today is that either you defecate over the top of the can of get an animal to do it for you. I myself would have the urge to dig up the can and grab a pinch a week from now.
"If you want to quit then stop talking and just QUIT. If you want to kill yourself a bullet is cheaper and faster than a tin, plus it eliminates my hearing you whine and cry like a bitch."

Best thing I have read on KTC...Submitted by tgafish on 7/3/14

Former Skoal Straight and Cope Longcut user that started at the age of 12. QUIT on 7/15/13
