alright guys...see my problem right now is you all just jumped down my throat acting like you know me. that right there makes this website look like shit, beating me down cause i relapsed. I get your tactic though. The truth is dip isnt the only think i'm addicted to. I was into drugs for a while then turned into an alcoholic for years. I've been through a couple programs for those addictions. I've been clean and sober for almost 4 months now. When i stopped doing those things I began to dip pretty much all day. And now that I'm trying to quit that its the hardest fucking thing to do. Every time i go without dipping for a couple days I start to get more temptations to drink or drug and I cant go down that road again. Maybe I need to get farther into my recovery with the alcohol and such..who knows. I'll keep trying. You can say I need bigger balls or whatever you wanna say, but you guys dont know shit about what i'm going through. Later fuckers

I am one of those guys who gets addicted to everything I try - chew, booze, pot, boomers, blotter, blow, etc. Been off the booze and drugs for 7 and 1/2 years now. It ain't easy but it is WAY easier than the alternative. Come on over to the WILDCARDAlcohol Quit Group and post with us. There is a good mix of guys over there how have gone (or are going) through the same shit as you. In fact, there are a lot of folks on this site who are going through the same thing even if they aren't posting in the alcohol quit group.

PM me if you want a number. I am willing to help but you have to do the heavy lifting.

Greg - honestly, the problem is not that you caved. The problem that I see is that you are putting zero effort into using the community as a tool for quitting. If you were taking this quit seriously, you would have at least stumbled in to the Welcome Center and read about how to post roll. And no, I will not post a link for you.

This website is focused on quitting nicotine in all forms. Allowing your lack of self-respect and lack of respect for this community would make this website look like shit.

Figure it the fuck out - join a quit group. You've been introduced. Now post roll in May 2010 and let your actions speak. Right now, your words are only telling us why you can't quit. Show us that you can by posting roll.

Now fucker.

Gregggg- you are right, a lot of us don 't understand other addictions. I would encourage you to go to the Wildcard section and look up a couple of the guys in the Alcohol Quitting Section and they can help you more.

Let's break this down, shall we?
Quote from: Greg
Hey everybody

My names Greg and i've been dipping for a little over 2 years. I've been trying to quit for the past 2 months. i can't seem to do it. I have a lot of knowledge on addiction and I know the only thing i'm missing is having people to talk to who know what its like. Thats why ive joined this website. I haven't dipped in about 3 days but i've been smoking cigs (even tho i hate them) to cope with the nic withdraws..which was an extremely dumb idea cause i know it will lead me back to my true addiction. I dont know i just figured i'd introduce myself and meet some people. Respond or something. I'm not even sure if i posted this in the right section..

    -Greg
Greg, you say you have a lot of knowledge on addiction, but there's obviously more missing than having people to talk to. You have that now but you are not taking advantage of the resources available. I've already discussed your choice to smoke cigs to deal with the withdrawals so we'll just let that be for now. Tell us Greg, with your knowledge of addiction - why did you fail at this attempt? With people to talk to, why can you not defeat your addiction?
Quote from: Greg
today is my 4th day free of nicotine and it feels good fellas. so how do i post a roll call or whatever its called
"or whatever its called"? How fucking lazy are you? There are resources on this website that explain step by step how to post roll (and why we do it). At least fucking try. You said earlier you want people to "respond or something"? Are we supposed to do all the fucking work for you? If you don't respect yourself enough to figure out how this community works, how are you ever going to keep yourself from stuffing cancer in your lip?
Quote from: Greg
well i fucked up purchased a tin todayyy, packed a couple lips and realized i'm an idiot. through the tin out the car window. looks like tomorows day one again. i gotta post or talk to people more on this website.
Look back to your post number one. Why do you make choices that you know are dumb? Are you truly an idiot or are you just weak? I'm guessing a whole lot of both. And again, look at your "doh-dee-doh" language. "Looks like tomorrows day one again"? No shit - it sure as fuck isn't day 6 like it should be you spineless little fuck. Looks like you've got some growing up to do. Looks like the fine folks at US tobacco have more self-respect, not mention bigger balls, than you. You wanna talk to people more on this website? Here, I'll talk to you. Fuck you troll. Go jerk off somewhere else.

Great job on the 4 days!

Read all of the links on the Welcome Center page to learn how the site works, how to post roll call, and (more importantly) why to post roll call.

Generally, you don't post rollcall after you've succeeded in staying clear of nicotine for the day, you post it as a promise to stay clean for the day. Try to post as early as possible, every day, and then keep your promise for the day.

There's nothing gay about sucking dick. Or am I thinking about creamsicles? It all blends together after being molested as a child.

:ph43r:
Holy Shit - I shut down the intro section for the day! Child molestation is less offensive than smoking cigarettes to help quit chewing tobacco.

"CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit. After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco."

Any section is fine. Since you quit dip 3 days ago you would be in my group, the April 2010 HOF. We would to have you post roll call with us and promise us that you will remain dip  nicotine free for the day. This means you will have to drop thhse cigars. If you would have not used them you would now be finishing up your last day with nic in your body but cince you used them, you will have to wait 3 days more once you drop them too. We will be there for all your rants and we know what you are going through since we just did it and are doing it ourselvevs.

It sounds like you need and want our help and we need you also to keep our group large and strong.

It is noce to meet you. Head on over to the quit group area and get to know your April brothers.
