Zero-Welcome! Unless I missed it I didn't see your name in Roll Call. If you haven't already done so go to Quit groups, find July 2011 and post your name in Roll Call. There is a link at the top of each thread that tells you how to post. If you need any help please PM me and I'll give you my cell number. I am on my Day 4 Quit and I would not have made it without posting Roll Call. When you post you are giving your word that you will not use nic for that day. Post Roll Call and honor your word. We are all Quit with you. I had a lot of fog on days 2 and 3. Much more than today but I am still not clear headed at all. Today I posted Roll Call and today I am Quit with you. Peace

Thanks! i hope this forum is as helpful as others have made it out to be! Also i'm thankful for being able to talk about this experience without the slogan "rehab is for quitters!" being yelled my way from my buddies. haha. Only thing thats hurting me right now is the damn bruins are 0-2 in the playoffs. PICK IT UP BOYS.
REHAB IS FOR QUITTERS!!

Actually I would consider that shouts of acclamation. It takes real courage to man up to a problem and face it head on, be it nic, alcohol, or other drugs. The folks belittling you feel inadequate next to your quit, cause they know you are doing what they do not have the courage to.

Peace,

30

Welcome to the best decision you have ever made. The fog is real and it will come and go. Just one of the side effects, but it will get better.

Feeling Good Louis!

Hey everyone, I'm on my second day without a dip. I think I'm starting to feel a bit of the fog already if that's possible, maybe just a bit of anxiety. What I can't stop feeling though is good about it all. Is this a side effect of quitting? I'll take two. I'm having a few headaches, pains etc but I do feel very optimistic about the future. It's a long road ahead and i'm sure I'm not at the bad part yet but I feel lucky to be feeling good today without any dip, finallllly!
