Ok ive been dipping for 5 yrs now. I started dipping to stop smoking cigars and now im more addicted to skoal than i ever was black n milds. Only 5 yrs and i can tell ive done alot of damage to my teeth and gums. Not to mention the toll on my walet.
I was wondering if anyone has had success with the ground up mint products? Are their any health risks useing mint?
Thank you
Nathan
Nathan, lets forgo the question of fake stuff for a moment...

You first admitted that you are addicted. Good because you are an addict. Nicotine calls you bitch!

Second, you have described the damage to your wallet and teeth/gums. Sure. Is that enough for you to quit?

As an addict, I looked at my skoal as my mistress. She understood me better than anyone. I was told over and over to quit. I would feel guilty and have my last dip and "quit". When whatever outside motivation spurred me to quit, when it was gone....I dipped.

I am now 162 days quit. I love it! I am quit because I had a day where I was tired and done being a slave. It really hit me that is was a stupid, no point habit. The only point to it was that I couldn't quit but I wanted to. Once I recognized that I wanted to quit for me....I quit. KTC taught me the secret and magic to control my addiction.

I don't give a shit about the fake shit. It helps some people but at the core, if you don't want to quit and your motivation is temporary, the fake will trigger you to mix with the real and then whats the point. You want the real so you will surrender to nicotine.

Quit cold turkey and detox. Post roll, nic rage and get control of your addiction. Once you quit, post roll and are quit....then get opinions on fake stuff.

My 2 cents. If you are posted good for you. If not, flush it now, take a deep breath, post roll and make your promise to take a long walk through hell. That walk will finally free you from your vice.
Quit And Be Free

Hi nathan, take a hard look in the mirror at the NICOTINE ADDICT! yeah, you're an addict,,,,,just like ME and ALL the BROTHERS of QUIT here at KTC.
This is one choice/decision you'll have to make EVERYDAY! It isn't like deciding what car or clothes you'll buy.
You'll have to make this choice/decision/commitment everyday, ONE day at a TIME. 'bang head'
This is why we POST ROLL and post roll EARLY in the a.m. It is your commitment to YOURSELF and US that you're not going to use NICOTINE in any FORM today. 'Finger'
Rest assured, there is nothing miraculous about being quit from nicotine. It is pure balls to the wall hard work that pays dividends for all of your life.
You'll never regret being quit but you'll always regret using nicotine in any form.
We were not born with this shit in our system, so why not stop being a dumbass dipper and be the smartass quitter that you really are?
I will quit with YOU Today! 'zombie'
ditto what has been said. Real simple, you want to quit, prove it to yourself and us...one day at a time. All we ask is that you keep your word.

Well as long as you don;t follow that up with going to crack to get off of nicotene.

Seriously, here is the link for reviews on the alternatives: http://www.killthecan.org/yourquit/reviews.asp

Guys here have been sucessful using them, self included, and others just don;t, it is a personal choice. But here is the benefit, you would no longer be using the addictive drug of nicotene. So any of the health risks associated with high blood pressure and possible cancer are avioded.

My advice, stop the crap now, dump all the dip, cigars or whatever you have laying around. Use what ever you need to keep the crap out of your lip. And if you need, use the support here on the site. Join us in the welcome center and posting when you are ready.
2x for me! Check your inbox(1). You can do this if you want it bad enough. That's the key because it sucks ass! But it can also be kinda fun doing it together.
