I have been hearing all about this pissing contest in here and I have skimmed through the mountain of posts and the one thing that sticks out to me is that I see a ton of energy going into this rediculous shit and I have yet to see anyone spend this much time and effort actually helping new quitters and/or the site. There are more important things that can be attended to and that is what I expect you mature adults to do from here on out. Today I found out that my friend has 2 days left to live because of a cancer that originated from dipping. This wasted time and effort could be spent supporting new quitters damn it!!!!!!
Sorry to hear about your friend. Prayers to everyone involved.

But this isn't a pissing match to me. If I try to help someone in the future and I'm deemed as some blowhard, why would anyone listen to me? I'm trying to clear my name and have spent many more hours helping quitters. I'm mature but I have some pride too. I will say my peace regardless.

This isn't the only thread on here. Plenty of helping going on on this site.

Don't like what you see here, move on...

This probably should go in a PM to Minnie Mouse but since he chose to put it here that we're all assholes and dipshits, I feel obliged to chime in as one of the aforementioned assholes and dipshits. I may be an asshole or a dipshit in your opinion Minnie but for you to come in here and quit and then to cave a few days later is about the same as a slap in the face to the rest of us who walked in and didn't just take a sip of the KTC Kool-aid but actually took the glass and chugged it. I've been quit for 297 days and have not caved. I'm not going to take any bullshit excuse for a cave either. You want to say you lead a stressful life and that caused you to cave? Come take a walk in my shoes for a few days and see how stressful life really can be. I have more stress than most on the forums but I don't flaunt that here. We're all here for a reason and everyone that knows me around these forums knows that I can be reached 24/7/365. Do I have to pick up my phone at 2 am for someone that I have never met in person? No. Will I? Absolutely. For you to disrespect some of the best quitters on this site, I must say you have some balls. Diesel has been there for every one of us whether we know it or not. He might not have ever said a word to you, but I know hes sitting at his house praying that someone doesn't cave today. He knows it can happen to any one of us. Just seeing you call him a "keyboard cowboy" makes me want to kick the shit out of you. Diesel has his style for talking to quitters. It works for some but not all. We all have our own style. You know who was one of the ones to push me to quit? Diesel. I owe my life to Diesel. If you don't like his style or anyone elses, you can go fuck yourself in my opinion. I don't regret for an instant, taking Diesel and Waketech's advice.

That being said, Fuck you minnie. If you feel like you have anything else to say, come at me bro and I'll show you how to be a badass quitter.
Damn!!!!

ffmoo is fired UP!!!

So am I!!!!

Can't believe blame is being placed on me for this. Fuck does this piss me off.

But then again, I'm just a keyboard cowboy.

#STEAMING
He got me fired up with all his bullshit. I also sent this to him in a PM just to make sure he sees it. I'm not one for the intro threads as actions speak louder than words in my opinion but for a quitter to come and ask me to chime in on something, it means that my opinion is being asked for. I'll gladly give my opinion if its asked for.
I've been called every name in the book in my time here, but NEVER have I been blamed for someone not quitting. Nor would I ever blame another person.
I get where Minny is coming from, I mean it's cool, in an immature way, to rant on when you see someone posting on OUR site and they are still dipping.

In all likelihood, the chance of them staying on-board, would be higher if you would calmly explain how things work here. They are obviously looking for help, not for someone to yell at them and belittle them.

I'm not trying to take anything away from you, you have proved that you are an awesome quitter but a more gentle approach will be more effective on 90% of the population.

I am no expert on quitting an addiction but I am a very successful sales rep so I know how to deal with the general population and my "general population" is all physicians, whom are the worst to deal with.

Some of the attitudes I see are not much different than the "brave and cocky" guys behind a steering wheel, who will cut you off and throw you a finger. Get them out of the car and it's an entire different story. Similar to calling someone Minnie Mouse .
I don't give a fuck if you're Zig Fucking Zigler. I am a successful salesman too. I sell tooling to tool and die shops. So the fuck what?

I've never sold to someone in an nicotine/chew intro forum before, have you? Not really sure you are compairing apples to apple's here.

The way I approach it is every intro I read I as different, just like every quit is. When I read this dude's intro I had a feeling he was pussy footing about quitting. I've seen it before. Usually when that happens I try and get that persons attention by snapping them off some tough talk to piss them off a little bit, but I also don't want to lose them so I try to explain WHY and that I'm not just being an asshole. Which I did. Yet that is conveniently over looked by Minny and others calling me a keyboard cowboy.

Other intros I approach differently.

Not sure how since you say you're not an expert that you can claim that a more gentle approach would be more effective on 90% of the population. Really? Do you have any stats to back that up? Do you go into a physicians office and just make shit up and try and sell it?

Also not getting your tough guy driver analysis, other than you think I'm some kind of fake tough guy.

Very chiildish by you. I'm here to quit and help others do the same. I'm not a WWF wrestler walking around with some fake persona. If you choose to believe otherwise, that's your problem.

Bottom line is I will not tolerate being blamed for even 1% of a person leaving this site and will fight tooth and nail to let it be known that I'm not jus some "keyboard cowboy". I truly care and want to help others quit. If you don't agree with my methods, tough shit.
You are funny.
Apparently you're in the same style as Minny, Paradigm. Some people just need the tough guy act to quit. I sure as hell did. If it wasn't for Diesel's tough guy act, I'd probably still be killing myself. Diesel knows what hes doing. Hes been around a while and is a pretty good judge of character. He can usually see thru the bullshit. Apparently you can't. I could tell by the first few posts of this thread that H2Q was not going to be around long. I even talked to him myself in chat and knew he wasn't serious about it. Diesel saw the same thing I saw and called him out on it. You guys need to be less judgemental of people and trust the guys that have been here before you. They have seen more and heard more than you. They know what they're doing. Its just that simple.

Look...this thread needs to be put to bed. I am getting a little frustrated with two of my quit group brothers who seem to agree that certain vets are "doing it wrong?"

This guy posted roll for a couple days and ducked out, simple. The only fault is his own, he was not ready to quit. I was that guy at one point and when I finally got on board I didn't care what anyone on these forums posted on my thread I was gonna get in here and fucking quit. So DUCKS! quit pointing fingers and lets get back to quitting and helping people who are actually here posting roll every damn day.

Oh little worm-dirt...you are so scary...F' OFF...!!!
