big kev-101-Thanks guys this is my last roll post, I will post occasionally if i need to ward off a funk but I think im good to go.

I'm just gonna leave that one here for all the vets to rip to shreds.
Hardly ever posted roll anyway! Posted 58 times out of 100. So what is different now! why should we invest time in his quit if all he is is a taker never giving back!
When He comes back with that day 1 I won't be there for him! At least not for the first 50 days.
So sad, bigkev, take it from someone who at 140+ thought I could stop posting roll.. Unfortunately you will cave...
Sometimes I really have to wonder why people came here in the first place if they didnt have the stones to quit and stay with the program.......

Anyway good luck and we will see you when you post Day 1......again....
Actually I do wish you luck bigkev, and hope you stay quit.
It can be done, but the odds go down... Get back in here and do what you know works if you feel close to caving...
Fish, eat, sleep. Repeat.

Any Ideas on how to deal with the wife?  God **** she is annoying,  she gets my blood boiling everytime I quit.  I wonder sometimes if its possible to be around her without being full of nicotine.
This got me cracking up! Hang in there bigkev, I'm on day 53 and my wife still manages to annoy me periodically, so it may not be the nicotine :)

Stay strong, get through Day 3 and you can get to Day 30,000 -- the worst is behind you! Don't hesitate to PM me if you need numbers or anything.

First I say welcome. This place is great.

On the issue of the wife. It is not really her that is bugging you. It is the NIC fucking with your head. Everything is going to bother you so you have to remember its not HER fault. Come in here and take it out on us, if she is bugging you calmly leave the situation and have some cold water or go for a run then come back when calm. You can quit this shit and you will feel better!

Can't help with the wife but I do suggest you come here to rant and rave.

One day at a time, my friend. You can do this.

Read everything you can on this site, drink lots of water, and get some exercise.

Day 3
« on: April 11, 2012, 05:30:00 AM »
Day 3 of cold turkey is today. Ive been addicted to either cigarettes, dip, nicotine gum, heavily since 8th grade (im 30 now). Always some form of nicotine, and I have never had the will to quit cold turkey but I did it this time and am on day 3. The intensity of cravings may be a little less now, but my mind is trying to come up with excuses to put one in. I glad that already my mouth has healed a lot more than i thought possible in 2 days. Last time I quit i used nicotine gum for 2 years and managed to quit that for 3 mos and went back for one of my excuses. Any Ideas on how to deal with the wife? God **** she is annoying, she gets my blood boiling everytime I quit. I wonder sometimes if its possible to be around her without being full of nicotine.
