I have been looking for some similar stories or assurance. Thanks. I'm looking forward to making it to HOF. I want to see what the doc says. I'll follow what ever God throws my way.. Not like I have much of a choice with the damage i have done.

Still looking up and pissed.
HOF is a nice first milestone in a lifetime if quit. A lifetime taken ODAAT. Just win each new day. Each new day is all you need to worry about. I know how you are feeling in regards to the unknown health issue. Best advice is tackle it head on and get it taken care of. Take the bull by the horns. Attack your quit like a man possessed. It's the best thing you can do.

Sounds like you're looking for some assurance from us based on our personal trials and tribulations if that lump on your jaw is cancer. So, I'll say this. Your description is not entirely consistent with an oral tumor, but that statement has about as much credibility as your own self-diagnosing of the situation. I'm not a doctor, most of us aren't, but I'm in the field of medicine and I think all of us (docs included) would say that there is no definitive answer until it is examined by a doctor. They may biopsy it or other procedure to determine for sure. In any event what needs to happen can't happen here on a website. What can happen is that we help you to stay quit. Should this come back clean, remember the fear, the anxiety, and uneasiness you're experiencing now. Promise never to put yourself through that again.

Like many before you and me, I started my quit in fear of a health issue. I luckily checked out OK, but I've sworn to myself never to go through that again. To make sure of this, I post roll every day and swear to KTC to be quit for that day. This is what I do for me.

I"m Matthew. I have been chewing about 13 years. Smoked for 2 years before that. Time and time again I have tried to quit.. struggling like the rest. I have tried a lot of methods.. cold turkey being one of the worst ways for me and my anger/temper. I have been Vaping with my chewing to ween my self off the tobacco. Its been helping me alot with the crave of keeping something in my mouth. Last Sunday I stopped Chewing to begin just Vaping!! TODAY the vaping is gone as well and I'm ready to say I'm nicotine free in 72 hours when it is out of my body. I hope I can come here daily and and Postroll and depend on a group of people that have struggled as I have.

On the other note I found a very small lump on my left jaw almost on my back molar. I'm praying god is not taking me down a path of teaching and it is a path of cleansing me. I would love any advice if any one has had one on there face , jaw. I have no cuts, discoloration in my mouth, no sores. I have always been very particular about cleaning/listerining and brushing my teeth and my mouth 2-3 times a day.

May God help us all..Daily!

'Finger' you Nicotine.
God has already given you the strength. Now use it

----- this guy was a dumb ass. Got scared by bumps/lumps/sores many times and swore I would quit... only to go back once I got the relief of the "all clear" diagnosis or when the lump went away.

Don't be like me. make this your last withdrawal from nicotine and leave those worries behind.
Aye. I have never really had sores. I used to get cuts all the time from the big ass dips! HATED them with a passion. I'm ready to eat a bag of Jones : Salt And Vinegar !

The lump does have me worried. The Ear Aches have been going on for months.

I have been very sick since I quit, Allergies, Bronchitis , Cold, sneezing and Ear Aches.. Looking forward to getting this crap out of me for good. 'Remshot'
Try not to blame everything on quitting. Maybe you just have a cold. You are going to be in hell for awhile then when its over you will feel better and can begin healing. You've got to really want this. Its not easy to quit but there are thousands here who remain quit everyday and all of them will tell you it is Totally worth it!
Dude something that's been going on for months, get your ass to a doctor now!!!
I agree! What ^^^WT^^^^says!
Me too
Agreed, not going to the Doctor doesn't make it get better or go away. If you have been getting ear aches for months you might want to get with an ENT doc. He can check the lump then to. My 2 cents
Aye. I went to the doctor In April and the ear aches went away for about a month. They started coming back in July with congestion and Allergies. Its been a real pain in the ass. It has only been getting worse. I just did 10 days of Amoxicillian. The draining and shit coming out of every hole has been since I started the antibiotic. They gave me a different one yesterday called Clindamycin. I have never taken this shit.

ENT Doctors here are all booked until the end of September * My Appointment is then.

From your guys personal Experience am I dealing with something major or just say Screw it till I get in with the ENT Doc?

BTW.. The sickness is not causing me to Crumble at all. I"m feel very confident and handing over my addiction to GOD. I feel strengthened through prayer without ceasing to stay QUIT
I wish I had more time to get on the Forums and shoot the shit with you guys.. Running the Business and Family has been very overwhelming .
Drink a shitload of water with the clindamycin (sp?) I was on that shit for a long time when I had a tooth abscess that got totally infected. It works great but is bad on the kidneys if you don't drink a shit load of water. Follow the directions to a "T". I was diagnosed with Ludwigs Angina which is an anaerobic infection. the Clinda worked very well but it took time.

It's always great to get on here when you can, but the most important thing is staying quit, SaVee. If you're doing that, and posting roll everyday, nobody can fault you.

My October group has a group chat thing going, makes it a lot easier to stay in touch and help out my brothers and sister in quit without getting on the forums. Not sure if December has a similar thing. Might be a cool thing to get started

I quit with you today! Have a good one
"Post roll. Post more if you want to. That's the beauty of the place: We ask you post roll. We ask you to be honest. That's all. No more. No less. Be there for your brothers and ask for help when you need it." - Wastepanel 10/6/14

"What would you do to save your own life? If you were fighting cancer today would you suffer through Chemo, surgeries, try new a therapy? change your diet, go to church? What intolerable hell would you endure to simply live. When you have thought long and hard about that, think on this. Why not apply that attitude to your quit. Suffer through the temporary discomfort of withdrawal to achieve your freedom from a slow painful demise via nicotine. Your in the ring already- fight like you mean it." - Skoal Monster 10/8/14
