Sounds like you're looking for some assurance from us based on our personal trials and tribulations if that lump on your jaw is cancer. So, I'll say this. Your description is not entirely consistent with an oral tumor, but that statement has about as much credibility as your own self-diagnosing of the situation. I'm not a doctor, most of us aren't, but I'm in the field of medicine and I think all of us (docs included) would say that there is no definitive answer until it is examined by a doctor. They may biopsy it or other procedure to determine for sure. In any event what needs to happen can't happen here on a website. What can happen is that we help you to stay quit. Should this come back clean, remember the fear, the anxiety, and uneasiness you're experiencing now. Promise never to put yourself through that again.
Like many before you and me, I started my quit in fear of a health issue. I luckily checked out OK, but I've sworn to myself never to go through that again. To make sure of this, I post roll every day and swear to KTC to be quit for that day. This is what I do for me.
