Day 17. Been up all night sick as hell, stomach issues. Can't guarantee how much I will be on today. I'm going to try and sleep most the day.
My middle boy is also sick, and my youngest was sick Tuesday so there must be a bug going around the Bauer house.
Grumpn' is prime KTC time, bring the phone charger with you. You would hate to be on the office throne, half way to returning the chewn' gum from 10th grade to nature and it dies. Just sayn'.

Day 16. Knee is still sore. I'm starting to get a little worried. I have felt this before and it don't end up well. I feel real good about my quit and I've been able to pay it forward. I'm learning a lot from vets here like Nomore59, tjschu, cadoit, kdip, Rewire and others.

Two weeks +1 day, that's right 15 days! I felt good yesterday and so far feel good today. We have some storms blowing through.
So.... deal with it when they come. Thinkn just gets you in trouble.
I'm sorry I was still half a sleep when I posted this update. We have literal storms blowing through. Not life storms. I have plenty of fake to help through the cravings. I may be at the sunshine and rainbows part of my quit but I like the way I'm feeling right now.
No offense was meant. I was just trying to be supportive.
I know I appreciate it! I'm glad that I have the support of my fellow quitters! Without it I would never have made it this far in my quit
Weather or shit storms, either way, deal with it as they come.

As long as you dont live in a trailer park, then your f'd.

You will continue to have bad days where you really feel the craves. I just hit one year and I have been battling them. I have read the postings of others that have made it 3 years and still get them. Never let your guard down, expect bad days and be ready to muscle and will yourself through them. Do not let them catch you with your guard down.

Saw you were working through some service related issues. I read just recently that folks with severe issues who spend 20 minutes writing about their anxiety and what caused them at least 4 days a week on a regular basis are significantly helped by this writing. It helps you work through the issues and sort it out in your mind. I hope it helps.

I quit with you today.

So it's day 14 as I said. I spent at the Veterans Center and resting my knee. Then when my wife came home we went and got spark plugs for her trailblazer. Then my 15 yo son and I changed them out. A 3 hr job took 2 with both of us doing it. the best part? No dip! Who would've thought I would be able to work on cars and not dip? The quality time with my boy was also great!
Keep up the quit! You're doing great.
Thanks fishflorida !
