Hey Everybody,
I just registered on here, but have not chewed since January 20th. (64 days). I am a college student in Nebraska. I chewed for 6 years and knew I had to quit before my addiction got worse. Right now, it is a lot easier to stay quit than before.   It is still tough to go out with people that smoke and chew right now so I am gradually working my way back into that. My triggers are probably when I get angry or when I have anxiety. Any questions, just ask!
Welcome to the site Dutch! Huge congrats on 64 days. And a second huge congrats for searching out resources to strengthen your quit when the going got tough.

If anger is your trigger, hang out in the May 2009 pre-HOF group. It may not be your official group, but they are all about the love.

I have a secret.

I love you May.
Dutch! Welcome. I quit the day before you. You are the last day eligible for the kickass FOQ'rs of April '09, ya lucky bastage - some fine peeps in there to keep you quit (and laffing). Come on in and post roll.
Dutch,

Glad to see you made it over here from chat last night! Great job on the introduction. A couple of things. Despite what smokey says, you'll have to go into the April group. I'm in May and we are all about peace and love so you're welcome to visit us when you need a respite (we're always telling smokey to go home). Second, in case you missed the embedded link PBkid provided, here's the URL to your quit group: index.php?showtopic=2015

Lastly, I second the kudos to you for seeking additional support! Read everything on this place and reach out to others. You're going to have some of the best friends you've never met. As I said last night, don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you need anything.
