Hello everybody, I'm 25 years old and have been dipping on and off (mostly on) for the past 6 years or so. Its time to kill this habit once and for all, and from researching around this hopefully seems to be the place to aid me along!

The names Ryan, I'm from Canada, and i'm sick of this shit.

Last night I threw my last half tin of copenhagen snuff into the toilet (no small feat considering tins up here are $22).

Today is March 29, and it is the first day of the rest of my dip-less life.

edit: Could somebody possibly recommend me the best way to stay on track using this website as a tool? I've looked and seen the roll call but i'm still slightly unsure which roll call I could start posting in.
Yo Ryan, we have the same initials so you must be cool. Welcome to the quit, brother, we do it one day at a time here and you can do it too. PM me if you need a number.

It looks like you got your first roll posted correctly in the July2012 group. Nice job, keep it rolling.

Welcome Ryan!

I joined and today is my day 16. It sucks. I was sad, I was mad, I was foggy, and I craved. No matter what I committed not to cave. Through the hell I had another feeling that I can't explain, I was happy.

What your doing is big. You don't need luck, just post roll, keep you promise and repeat. Stay close to the site, meet friends and reach out.

Embrace the suck...you'll hear that a lot. You'll live it.

Hello Ryan, I too am new here, but I can try to help. Here is the link that shows you how to post roll:

index.php?showtopic=50

You would be in the July 2012 Group since you quit today.

ah, I see you found it...well, welcome and good for you to do this quit. You will never regret quitting. Scott

My quit sounds and feels like this youtube...intense and not too long Arnold Schoenberg - Peripetie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNCIz-_Q ... ure=colike (I call it "nic's theme")
Calling it "role call", because accountability to role models is the path to quiterrificness.

Congratulations! Best decision of your life. Even nailed your first roll. Well done.

Things to remember:

1. All nicotine is off-limits. No snuff, snus, patches, gerts, cigars, douches, lozenges, gum, or suppositories. We are nicotine-free.

2. Post roll first thing every morning. Quit that day. Repeat next day.

3. Read, explore, and interact with the KTC site.

4. Contact your quit brothers and get phone numbers (digitz). Your life will likely be saved by them multiple times.

5. Jump into LiveChat and chat/ask questions.

6. Rage at us when you need to. Your friends and family did not make you pack your lip; therefore, don't rage at them. Believe me, we know, and we can take it. In fact, there is no other place in the world that knows what you are going through like we do.

7. Be active. I am at 76 days and I still use this site multiple times daily.

Check your Inbox. PM me back if you have any questions.
