Big Chief...wise choice my man.

It don't matter if you dipped from a tin, chawed from a bag, or ate a plug out of a whores ass.

Nicotine is nicotine and THAT is what you, and all of us are addicted to.

I know you're scared, and I know you're wondering if you can do it. I had the same concerns 584 days ago.

My journey has been tough, especially in the beginning, but has gotten progressively easier as the days go by. I am thankful for this site, because I don't think I could have made it this far alone. And to be honest, I don't think you can either.

Good news for you is, you don't have to. You have a crew of bad ass quitters who have blazed a path and will help you walk it.

Success leaves clues, so if you want to get a taste of what it takes to be quit, I suggest you start reading as much as you can. There are clues all over this site. Find them, listen for them, put them together and you too will be sucessful.

Clue #1....go post role and make your promise to be nicotine free for the day. Not for tomorrow, not for all of next week, or next month. Just for today. That's all you have to worry about, TODAY. Fuck the past and screw the future. Today is where it's at.

If a fucking idiot like me can do it, then anybody can.

You got this shit, brah.

I am not a tin chewer, and it seems like most of you are. But I am addicted to Red Man golden blend, and I have to quit. I am 5 months into my marriage, and we are looking to have a child. I hide it best I can, take a whooping when I get caught, and my life is starting to revolve around when I can get my next chew. I consider myself mentally tough, but I feel like this is a battle I cannot do alone. I am chewing almost 2 bags a day, and that is almost a bag just from 10-11:30! Until today. This morning I disposed of everything, and I am 12 hours into my quit. So hello, I am Big Chief Quit.
Welcome to Ktc. This is both the toughest and easiest thing you can do. It will suck but all the best things in life are earned. Its as easy as NOT chewing TODAY. Strap in and get your mind right. Go to the welcome center and read everything you can. Ask us anything. We have all stood at the same place you are today. We all have made it past day one. So can you. Let me know if you need anything.
