Just completing day 1 after 15 years of chew. Not going to be easy but needs to be done. I'll get it done.

Good stuff bro! Welcome! Let me know if you need anything. Read what's in this thread. When I started bullshitting, I was quickly set back on the right path!

Morning folks!

Just wanted to send you guys a quick thank you! Today is 21 days nicotine free. The hardest part is not listening to the addiction tell me that 1 dip will be OK. You guys and your posts and your texts have been there for me t prevent the cave. Thank you. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

For all the September guys reading this, stay strong! Don't give in! Use your resources!

For all the newbies, lurkers, information gatherers, people not sure if they want to quit or not, excuse makers, etc. make up your mind, make the promise to quit 1 day at a time, post roll, get some numbers, and most importantly, don't dip!

I am quit with all of you today!

I am a huge advocate of either keeping track of your quit here or in a log somewhere. I strongly suggest to everyone to keep something daily. Every miserable detail.

There will be a day when you think you have this thing whipped. When you do get your quit log out and read over it. Who better to tell you the shit you went through than you.

Nicley done!!

STAY QUIT
Greg

Day 27. Just wanted to stop by and read some of the BS I started with when I first came here a few weeks ago. It's good to remind myself of the BS just in case a little voice (my addiction) wants to start talking to me again! This way I know what to listen for and when to scream for it to STFU  STFD! Of course all of your experiences also help with that!

I'm quit like a mofo with all of you bad ass quitters today!

Three weeks? That went fast for me. Great post, glad your feeling good about your quit. Rez, make the promise now that you text or call me when you feel that the fight is kicking your ass. If you're like me, dark clouds are going to start to gather.

When they do, it is a sham and a crossroad. Call me and I will come to your match and cheer you on! Chapter 2 is about to begin but what a great first chapter! Great and inspiring to quit with you!

You can never cave until you call a brother and ask for permission. Right?

day 5.  halfway through the day.  tossed and turned last night.  maybe getting punched and tapped out at mma practice later tonight will help ease some of the cravings.  i have found that randomly walking around during the day with my mouthpiece in works too.  stay strong folks, i know i'm not giving in today!
Rez,
That is the first time i have heard about curving craves with a mouthpiece but whatever works man. Stay strong
lmao! laying on my couch, reading with a mouth piece in! it worked! lol!
um..... can you describe this mouth piece Rez? I'm having bad images...
"CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit. After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco."
