new quitter introducton

Hello everyone, my name is CHris and I am here to finally quit spit tobacco, or rather, all forms of nicotine. I am posting this both to introduce myself a bit more, and also so that there is something that I can go back to in the tough times to read and remind myself of this quit. I am 17 years old, and have been either smoking/chewing for about 2.5 years. Really, there haven't been too many health concerns besides the gross occasional sores and high blood pressure, and the unending calculations for when I can sneak a break in. But I know that it is a horrible habit. I need to quit now, before I get into college and don't have my parents/school telling me not to use tobacco. That is part of where my motvation comes from, but the main reason I need to and want to quit is because I realized I really don't want to die, and push all that pro-tobacco bullshit aside, I will die if I keep using it enough. Moderation of the habit doesn't work either, because one thing leads to another and then another fulltime habit is in play. I can never have one puff, one chew, or one ANYTHING invloving nicotine again and I am doing this so that I, as well as any relations with people, can have a future. I want to be quit, so I am going to do something about it, instead of sit around like my other bitch ass whiny fat ass friends who make their daily decision to smoke and feed their addictions.
Sorry thats not much of an introduction, but I think I will be able to use this in the future. Thats a little insight to me as well, I guess. THanks for listening :D
