black piece of plastic in the hollow of the tree. Looked completely out of place so I reach down a pick it up. It was a tin of skoal long cut. You gotta be shitting me right! Here I am
all alone, not a soul around, no youngsters with me, just me. I popped the lid off looked at it to a sniff, about gagged and then remembered my promise that I sent on roll about 45 mins previous to this.
Put the lid back on and buried that can until I was finished my hunt and then dumped it. You see my buddy is a Ninja dipper and probably left it there so his wife wouldn't find it in his gear.
I'm sure he wasn't leaving it there for me because he would have no idea I was hunting that stand. Posting roll that morning right after I woke up saved my quit that day. 822 days of freedom doesn't come easy. There are
always surprises and occasions our quit will be tested. Thanks for the support fellas. Thanks you for helping me bury that can and keep my word and stay quit.
Yikes!!!! Wonder what you would have done if you didn't have this site and the brotherhood, accountability...

So as you can see from my brother Strangers note above I was deer hunting a couple days on and off after Thanksgiving. No luck but all in all a great day in the woods with my boys.
