You've gone through the fog a few times, and you know what the first days are like. You don't know what it's like to quit though, as you've never done it. You've had a few pauses. The good news is that you have people here who will see through the BS you have used in the past to return to nicotine slavery. We know that because we've all seen the BS, and we've all used the BS. This support group is better than your girlfriend anyway. Trust me, your GF will get tired of your fog and withdrawal and irrational mic-rage. You're quit bro/sisters will not. Welcome aboard!
*Quit today. Full stop. No qualifiers. Tomorrow?... IDK, IDC.

Hey everyone!  I have quit in the past but only for a few months time.  Today I looked in the mirror and my teeth grossed myself out.  I have been dipping 3-4 cans a week since 1995ish and I am completely ready to get this behind me.  I dont really have a support structure here as my girlfriend is stationed halfway across the US with the Chair...I mean Air Force.  The thought of quitting freakes me out because I know what it is like as I have experienced it before.  Just thought I would rant a little here and be on with it.

PM coming your way man....congrats on making a great decision.

IMHO...the reason you failed before after months of quit is because you started to take your quit for granted....and the nic bitch pounced. Its happened to many..myself included. That's what the daily posting of roll here at KTC will correct....it keeps your commitment in the front of your mind....and doesn't allow complacency. Good luck...stay quit.
By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.

Hey Hedge,

Congratulations on your decision to quit!

Go over to the WELCOME CENTER (link in red at the upper left of your screen) and read all about posting roll. Then go to the Pre-HOF July 2013 Class and get started. This will be your "support structure." Read everything you can under this link: KillTheCan.org. Information is power when it comes to quitting. Please Note: We quit cold turkey here, meaning no nic patches, gum or tobacco products.

The initial days of quitting suck, but your life is worth the fight!!
