Unfortunately my work blocks websites like this so I can't post until I get home
So do you not start your day at home?
You should wake up, shit, post roll, shower........
Posting roll early is very important.
Some of us wake up a few minutes early, post roll then; shit, shower, shave.
It's actually very easy to do.
i post roll while i'm shitting prior to my shower and shave. my quit smells goooood in the morning.
It's a few minutes before 5am here and roll's been posted in about 6 places with a few more to go. Amazing what priorities can do for your quit.

I don't see that you posted role today.

I guess today is not the day.....todays not over though and there is still time for you to man up and take control of this addiction.
Thanks to all for the support and advice, no dip since last night and just posted in roll call. Unfortunately my work blocks websites like this so I can't post until I get home but I can say that knowing that I needed to be accountable to the group helped me drive past the convenience stores on the way home so I could make it through day 1 and post in roll.
Great Job, And welcome. Glad you made the decision to post.
No hold one. Get a bunch of numbers and call/text them. Read the site and posts.

As far as roll call, if you have a computer at home, get up a few minutes early and post roll. Shouldn't be a problem as insomnia is usually part of the game initially.

Van,
What works for me is that Smokey Mountain fake snuff. The Mint Snuff also works. You can do it! The first 3 days are hell, but after that it gets better. Hang in there, you can do it! Day 7 here for me.

I have tried quitting in the past using patches, gum, lozenges, prescription pills. Started with Kodiak in high school and college and then on the Skoal, overall its been close to 20 years and I have had enough. Just came across this site and decided that the "helpers" in the past just give me a reason to go back when I stop taking them, I want to prove that I can do it on my own.

I have a 1 month old baby and don't want to take time away from being with him because I am too busy worrying about my next dip. I am ready to be dip free and looking forward to this site helping me through.
Posted Roll yet, Vann? Get on that shit, if you're serious about wanting to be around for your young baby.

These are true gems that will prove vital in your quit. How do I know? Been there, lived through it. All of it. You can and will do this without the crutches (which just prolong the agony of withdrawal), but you don't have to be on you own. Any of us will help you anytime. Just say the word, and the support is there. That's what makes this place work. Welcome to the circus, bro.

Van,

Good choice

#1 Post Roll

#2 Keep your word to stay quit for that day

#3 repeat

#4 read everything on this site and use this site as support! Also get some off site support---wife, family, trusted friend or doctor to hold you accountable.

Two choices:

#1 Quit Using and be there to watch your child grow into an adult.
#2 Use Nicotine and have the possiblity of not being around to see your wonderful child grow up

Now that is an easy choice--health over potential cancer!

PM me if you need anything
