Well... I am on day 29 and out of nowhere, the cravings return with a vengeance! I mean, all of a sudden it's like I'm back in day one or two! I was seriously contemplating leaving work and getting a can! I couldn't focus on anything because of it. Two things stopped me.. First, I reached out to BazookaJoe who told me that the fog will hit you again around day 30 and again at approximately day 70. Those words helped me tremendously and I want to thank BazookaJoe for that. Second, the fact that I had posted roll and promised that I wouldn't use nicotine that day. The accountability thing hit me just as hard as the facts about the fog. So... I decided that even if I messed something up at work and got wrote up I was not going to leave and cave! I'll tell anybody that this is the toughest thing I've ever done, but has been totally worth it.
Hey Tony Pab here. Been reading your post I also love hunting but more into crappie fishing. What I wanna say is just by reading your post you will appreciate this. When I was growing up a man's word meant something and was worth something! What I'm trying to say nic bitch gonna come at us often but every morning we post roll that's our word make yours count you want go get a can because I can tell you're A man of your word! I quit with you!

Hey Pab! I am probably a bigger fishing junkie than I am hunting. I love crappie, bass, catfish, and saltwater red snapper fishing. Its hard to have enough tackle to pursue all of those as it gets pretty expensive. Crappie is probably the best tasting freshwater fish there is. I can eat my weight in fried crappie. I do appreciate what you're saying about being a man of you're word. If a man has a conscience then it is hard to break that promise that he makes during roll call. I am glad to quit with you as well!

Good job posting roll TonyFlynn. Knew you'd get it. Took me 6 days to figure it out.

I have a Stoger 12 gauge turkey gun that shoots 3 1/2 inch shells. That thing will put your dick in your watch-pocket for you if you shoot it more than once or twice. The only way I'll pull the trigger on that is if a gobbler is in front of it
I just loaded some 4570 with 350 grain round nose soft points over 45.3 grains of 4198. They should leave dead hogs on one end minimal bruised shoulders on the other.

Hey Pelly, good to meet you. You can also drop me a line if you want. I am on day 14, the two week mark! Pretty pumped up about that, and you're right behind me! BazookaJoe, I bet that 338 win mag don't kick too bad does it?
Not at all. Recoil is there but it's not unbearable except if you shoot it 12 times with 250s.

I hunt with a .270 as well. An excellent caliber for whitetail. I want to buy a .243 in the xbolt, as I have never owned a Browning. Yeah the first hunt I went on without dip was just one big long craving-fest! since then its a lot easier, just got to keep my guard up. Bazooka Joe that FoxPro is pretty cool. I have a buddy that has one he uses for coyotes. Stat, I have never owned a Savage myself but I have a lot of buddies that love them. Wt57, that is a hell of a list, you must be pretty far in your quit.
I hunt with a frickin arsenal:
223, 220 Swift, 257 Wby, 280, 308, 3006, 300 Wby, 338 Win Mag, 45-70 (reloading today), 44 Mag, 10mm, and 500 Smith.

I have a hard time choosing which gun because I only have so many tags.
