Now look at your daughter and smile because maybe, just maybe you quit in time to see her get married! 38year dipper 20 days quit wasnt for this place results be the same as always I'm pissed, stressed, lonely just hunting creating even an excuse to get a dip But not now I quit! Quit with us brother its worth your life!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Get obsessed with this site, make some friends in your quit group, exchange phone numbers and read everything you can. It's the best way to begin your quit. But as the others said, you gotta post roll and do it every day. That's your promise for the day to stay quit.

Intros are a nice thing, but posting roll is the foundation of quit. Post roll please.

If you use nicotine to solve a problem, you just gained an additional problem on top of the one that will still be there.

Hey fox do me and yourself a favor, realize you are an addict. Let that soak in a minute. Been here 17 days have been the nics bitch for 38 years! Didn't ever think about being addict till these guys brought it to my attention! Addict to me meant heroine meth coke but not tobacco! Now, that is some serious shit! I've quit to many times to count! I honestly have a great chance to stay quit with these guys just wish I would have found them years ago! Said all this to say I quit with you today odaat!

Took the day off using the cold weather as an excuse. Probably for the best. Not craving bad but the waves of anxiety and hot flashes really blow. Stomachs kinda jacked up which is good because even the thought of a dip makes me feel like puking.
I had a bad day 1 . . it was the worst day.

Just hang on . . you may be pleasantly surprised by Day 2.

It's worth it.

We all know that feeling too well. Just keep on hydrating with water  piss all that nicotine out of your body. The next week may be a little rough but stick to your guns  read up on your enemy. We're in this together bro. Keep on QUITTING!

Welcome fox. First of all, congrats on making the best decision of your life. You will never regret quitting.

jeff mentioned the welcome center which describes what roll, is and how to post it.

Don't worry about making it 3+ months. We take our freedom one day at a time. We do that by posting roll (our promise not to use nicotine that day) each day, then honoring our word. Everyone can keep their word for one day, right?

Your month is the April 2015 quit group.

Welcome man and reach out iif you need anything.
what he said. Welcome.

Hi Jeff. I can't tell you how many times I've 'quit' - throwing a halfa can away just torush out the next morning for a can. But that was all just trying to 'white knuckle' it on my own. But now I found this place, and now I am quit, and I have this community at my back. Search out how to post up in roll call in the right quit group and do it. Every day, one day at a time brother.

Way to go on making the decision to break the shackles. PM me if you want to exchange numbers for support.

third times the charm
« on: January 13, 2015, 12:17:00 AM »
Hi my name's jeff, 36 yo chewed for 20 years. I've "quit" 2 times before. The longest i made it was just over a year. Decided this morning that this is it im done letting something so stupid control my life. Bought a roll at 9 am, tossed it in the trash at 10. I do fine in the beginning but what makes the 3+ month mark so hard? I work construction and always blamed the relapse on that but i feel like it's a cop out.
