Hey Matt. Kidb here also from NY. Just hit my comma (1,000 days) last month and I still can't help but leer at the Scoal can when I hit the local deli or gas station. This shit is tough and it will be with you for life but if you are ready to quit then just take it one day at a time and the weeks will take care of themselves. PM me if you need help. Once you've made the decision to stop nothing left to do but dig in, post roll everyday, lean on your brothers and sisters here for support, kiss the shit goodbye for good and get back to living life. Proud to be quit with you today.

Hi everyone, Matt from New York area glad to find this great site. I am almost two days dip free and having a tough time. Been loving dip for over half my life but it is time to cut the cord. 1.5 can a day habit for so many years. Keep it up everyone and thanks for all the info and great support.
Arr my friend you can't love dip and quit it at the same time, don't make sense. You've got to hate this shit and then it's a daily struggle for awhile. My advice is don't be a failure make sure you want this more than anything you've ever wanted before you say I'm done. Learn to hate this flesh eating ,cancer causing, killer weed! When you're ready we will definitely be here for you! I quit with you today!
Yep, this is the most addictive substance known, you will need to learn to hate to last.
Hi Matt! Quitting nicotine for an addict like you or me is not an easy feat. Our minds try to trick us into believing all sorts on nonsense - that nicotine helps us do things better, focus, be more productive, be less of an asshole. All bs.

One day at a time, one foot in front of the other, this gets easier and more rewarding. Right now, just take it a day at a time and try to respond to those craves with an "I'm winning" today attitude. Because you are winning at a battle that you lost at for a long time.

You are at the right place at the right time. If I can help - shoot me a pm - I'd be glad to help.
