Welcome.

You never quit before. You just stopped for a scosh.

Also you didn't pick up a "habbit", you became a nicotine addict...we all did somewhere along the line.

Sucks, but it is what it is.

Read the welcome center tab at the top left of the screen and learn how to post role and start doing so.

Finally, you are right it is time for you to be a real man, but not for your wife and kids but for YOU.

Wife+Kids=Great motivation but ultimately whether you succeed or fail will be determined by your desire to quit for YOU.

YOU got this shit bro, WE will help.

Welcome again, and thanks for your service.
Welcome aboard please dont be a one and doner...you get up every am and give us your word that you will be nicotine free today...wake up repeat.

Diesel got all the parts of your intro that were flawed with addict speak. Also it is evident that you are weak around the NIC WHORE while you are drinking so worked into your quit plan should be to stay away from booze for awhile.

The biggest thing that helped me with my quit was admitting that I am an addict the difference between us and crack whores is the legality of the substances. You like me are no better than them. Keep that fresh in your head might help you get through the suck.

Also embrace the suck remember how you are feeling right now and tell yourself NAFAR never again for any reason....

Get to your group get numbers text people call them make yourself accountable to them and them to you.

N now I guess we have to see if you show up today to fight for your life or if you are going to lay down with the whore

Welcome BB and congrats on deciding to quit. It's hard work, but so worth it. I hit 196 today and the water is just fine.

Your first stop is to click on the welcome center link in the upper left corner, then post roll in the Pre HOF October group. If ya need some help give me a holler.

Im a new member on hear just found the site. It is helping me cope with my urges tonight and know Im not the only one going through this..just purchases some imitation stuff from the link to help satisfy the oral fixation. Im almost done with day 3. I quit for about 4 weeks last year but gave into temptation after a few drinks. This time i am more serious. I am sick and tired of the chest pressure, indigestion, hearburn and sensation i have to burp all the time. I am a very healthy guy other than this nasty habit i picked up in the marine corps 15 years ago. Time for me to suck it up and be a real man for my wife and two babies.
Great. Post up in October and do it daily.

Sent you my digits. Use em if you get a crave!,,,,,
